well? what did you vote? I think that i'd like to see it in
a bright color tone...kinda like a happy little place on the
net. IDM just seems to have a bright color tone to it's
sound. I felt that there were too many site using dark color
tones anyways.

I voted dark.
Dark is nice , most of my clothes are black.
But whatever Phobia and the cru desides im sure it will
look fantastic.
They know what they are doing.

I voted dark. I like it this way. Wouldn't want it to
suggest happiness, but solemnity.

I voted dark.
Not because I like that more, cos I 'm the most colorfull
person there is (I have a flourescent yellow sweater!!!!!!)
but when I'm staring at a bright screen for some hours,my
eyes hurt.

"when I'm staring at a bright screen for some hours,my
eyes hurt. "

Yeah good point
Dark would be more pleasing to the eye in the end.

bright text on dark background could be hard to read
actually - especially a lot of text.

i have a few concepts tho. thanks for voting.

But as it is now, it's just excellent. This is the best
designed MB I have ever visited (I'm talking about MB
because that's the part of this site I am most frequent to).
If you can improve on this, that's great, but as it is, it's
good.

offline princo from Shitty City (Geelong) (Australia) on 2002-05-30 15:15 [#00242530]

yeah, i invited people who spend there time in other mboards
and they comment on how good this mb is.
expecially the avatars! the worlds best i reckon.

yeah this is the best MB i have visited to.
The high tempo and its so easy to use
The favorites feature is excelent , i don't think i have
seen that anywhere else.

and 60% dark, but the poll has not ended yet.

Well, i voted bright (pretty out of charecter, i know), and
the last time i checked the stats, it was 48% bright, and
50+% dark.

quite a draw so far.... well, a suggestion would be to keep
the mb colors (this bright, greenish colorscheme, quite
bright, calm colors imo) for contents and use a darker
surrounded environment.

i don't believe in having bright text on dark in long run -
even tho it looks cooler. its more suited for small sites.

makes sense?

i don't know where ur getting bright text on dark
backgrounds...

I was under the impression that we were voting on the whole
color scheme.

i think that black/greay/dark grey is over played.

i DO however like the ways white/blue/mid-light grey
looks...

i voted brighter with the text in mind .. but i guess this
current v5 mb layout is pretty sweet .. dark and bright.

Yeah that makes sense.
I have never thought of it before but you are right , these
are calm colors suited for "long staring".

Btw. i love the way my avatar colors blends with the rest of
the site =)

light either. it's very nice.

yeah - i like this colorscheme as well. :)

of cos - it'll be enhanced a lot - but i guess it's a good
thing to keep a familiar environment (which you are used to
by now). i think you lot are scared of new things anyway.
;-)

I LOVE this site, it looks like perfection. Both the board
and the .NU itself. Great colors. I definitely want a dark
scheme.

That huge black strip on the right of the board is kind of
annoying, though... there's lots of cool stuff you could put
there. Then again, the minimalist nature is cool...

i agree, the present color scheme is excellent... something
similar would be very appreciated ^^

i know another mb whose color scheme's dark grey. it's
depressing. aphextwin.nu/mb has a much warmer feeling. :)
