darius is actually more reasonable than u think its just that she is frustrated with the amount of assholes that coast on the idea that they are virtuewarriors against a woke take over then use that as an excuse to mask their own taste for authoritarianism. shes also getting shit on by some of the most annoying leftish types and its probably really exhausting
i agree with you about how annoying it is that leftists wont let you label them or describe them or attribute anything to them. they are super comfortable with labelling everything around them as fascist racist phobic colonial zionist whenever they want so its very unfair

Keep an eye out. You will not be able to engage in any sort of exchange where you even levelheadedly argue against her communism or braindead "intersectional" ideals without her attempting to dismantle your argument by claiming you get your ideas from some right wing idiot. And her ideas are so fucking easy to dismantle, literal children can out think your average marxist.
Anyway she used that tactic here with you, and she'll do it next time as well. And she did it the last 50 times anyone opted to engage with her. She has no actual rebuttal aside from that. I've lost every shred of respect for her.

Even this is ridiculously disingenuous. You're simply pretending that I haven't tried to engage you in good faith multiple times and EACH TIME you ultimately attempt to assail the argument by assuming it's source is some trash media. And don't pretend you're not doing that here. That is what you did, it's what you'll continue to do. I'm not giving any credence to the whole victim thing. You're a professional strawmanner.

The funny thing is you know exactly who and what I meant by every one of those things. Without a doubt. Every single person here knows the type of people I'm shitting on. I'm just not using your preferred speech.
And I'm also not supposed to be able to say anything bad about these people at all, it's taboo.... because of some intersectional power dynamic thing which dictates I'm supposed to keep my mouth shut to reallocate social dynamics to those who have had a lower equity stake. But since I don't subscribe to that utter and complete horseshit, I don't care.
Either way, that bit there was more directed at the progressive, anticapitalist activist movement itself, the bit I directed towards you directly was about the way you write off a direct opinion in a reply by attempting to lump it in with what you perceive as media slop. It's not just here, it's not just me, it's not just Ampi, you do it every time. I've called you out on it before, and shown you examples before, and each time you fail to see it for your self. It's not just broad opinions like my little spiel there, it is direct and nuanced replies, from multiple people over multiple years. I can't be any more clear than this, and if you need examples pour over our last 10 conversations, which all started off cordial, before I realized that you're just playing some kind of game.

Tony likes to write off this sort of rhetoric as "gamergate stuff" too, although I don't even know which side of gamergate is which and didn't care about the actual igniting issue. I did care that all of a sudden all the reviewers for every single site became black feminist activists over night though, that I did notice. And I stopped reading reviews from "critics" entirely.
I don't need to subscribe to some political platform to know what kind of people are setting the "sensitivity" guidelines for things I USED to like. I can figure it out myself quite easily. I'm calling them HR Karens. Every last is a progressive woman.

Heh. Nice try. If you actually were an honest actor, I'd definitely tell you what I think about feminist activists masquerading as video game reviewers, and how instead of reviewing a game they're really reviewing it's worth solely in terms of progressive virtue in terms of the issues they actually care about:race and gender. I might have that discussion with you. But you'd just pick out the key words, frame is as some bullshit question, and ignore every salient point possible. Since you're *actually* a dishonest pile of shit, I won't bother.

Describe to me how this issue has affected you. Have you felt lost without the guidance of a trustworthy video game review? Have you looked at any games I’ve recommended? I can tell you about them if you like. I don’t like them for social justice reasons. I have very little interest in pop culture political discourse, did you know that? Though it’s fun to look at the broader sociology of games sometimes.

What I truly think is that nearly every stereotype and cliche about a group of people is largely true. INCLUDING whatever stereotype you have for me, to a degree. I mean Tony isn't that far off with like "Gamergate chud." It's not quite right, but you need to talk to someone earnestly to get to their individual meat. I've engaged you earnestly several times, and never have acted in good faith. You don't respond to the major point, you nitpick the minor one, and you pretend you don't know what I'm talking about right now. Heh. I think you probably are the most singularly triggering individual I've met online. It's NOT because of your different opinions, but just your conversational methodology and intellectually dishonest approach. But anyway. I'm gonna play Graveyard Keeper 2 (it's not woke).

it’s a common anti-trans activist take. there are a few variations (it’s not a particularly consistent ideology) but it goes something like, trans women are unsuccessful men who think women have it easy and they resent that, so they transition for easier access to sex and women’s spaces, and they force lesbians to have sex with them under threat of cancellation.
it’s a bit sad when people let others do their thinking for them.

You pretend the communist alternative will be anything other than a unilateral loss of rights, the arts, individuality and basic needs. Like it has been every time.
You pretend this because you think somehow human nature will transcend the corrupting factors like greed that ruin it INSTANTLY, in the past, present and future. At least capitalism and democracy accounts for greed, and does a pretty good job of making sure everyone here had some food and can post their bullshit on xltronic. There is no Aphex Twin in communism, he's waiting in a bread line.
I'm not a Ben Franklin kick right now. I think he's my favorite historical figure.
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety"
You'd trade it all, for something utterly proven to perhaps be the worst system of all of human history. I'd rather live in a monarchy.
I'm not shying around it any more. I will tell people what I think of their alternatives. But if you don't like the cut of my jib you can just watch the history channel or, I dunno a north korean news feed.

I guess another correction is in order, lol. Its not really like the Palestinian people killed 1000++ people at an electronic music show. It was clearly hamas, and I bet there were quite a few Palestinian Peeps that were like "nooooooo dont do that! This isnt gonna be good for business." Thats not gonna be good for anybody. I feel genuinely bad for those dudes.
But that said, your country is a rat warren of underground terrorist tunnels, its like living on top of an active volcano. I also know no one wants to take you 8n. Sucks to be you. Children also die of cancer, things aren't fair because if there is a god xe/xir doesnt care about fair. You still dont get to kill 1000 people at a music festival. You think the value of your labour and your resources should stay at home. Similarly, in Burkina Faso for example, they think the value of their labour and resources should stay at home, not get expropriated by a combination of military force and private equity groups. But the money hates this, which is why they call Ibrahim Traore an authoritarian for opening a gold refinery to process Burkina Faso's gold. He's oppressing the profit margins of western investors!

Yeah, I mean I think my tax money should be invested in the infrastructure initiatives that I voted on and not funneled to Netten Yahoo, and so should yours in kind (triple down on poutine cheese curds probably).
Investing in business is fine overseas really, but buying property and majority stakes that lead to ownership becomes a real problem. The thoroughly unlovable Chinese would have bought the entirety of New Zealand if they could. So as in all things, where I start from a pretty libertarian philosophy as a beginning, pragmatism puts me more as a moderate democrat, putting a few key restrictions on things. But only where expressly needed.
What I just described is a proper solution. Fat, ugly, nose ringed blue haired angry clown screeching WOMEN demanding to take my property for redistribution... is most certainly not a solution I will accept without the most violence I can possibly inflict. They do genuinely want this, it's not really debatable. It's not bravado either, I've never really been in a fight and I don't even own a gun or like them at all. But I'll buy one and drop each clown I can encroaching on my property before they usurp anything of mine via the revolution they *expressly call for.*

As dg notes the kind of property Marxists talk about is productive property, not your personal possessions or even your home.
And one of the major goals is to produce so much material abundance that we exist in a state of post scarcity that eventually makes money irrelevant. It's not about taking people's existing shit and passing it around to create shared immiseration.

worker owned + no money has been talked about for a long time. many have asked how it could be made possible. i think you have to admit to everyone that communists have a theory on how it could be possible and it requires a huge world war that erases the existence and memory of capitalism globally before worker ownership can happen. explain how the route to worker owned production can be found in another way

Oh no, not force and violence! How unlike all the endless wars, massacres, genocides, rapes, enslavements, holocausts etc. which created and sustain capitalism.
In practice what seems to be happening over and above conflict, and there's some of that too, is more like Hegel's dialectic of the master and the servant. The master comes to depend on the servant, becomes weak with learned helpessness, while the servant who works with the world to create, to satisfy the master's needs and then his own, discovers himself and his power.

Until you get to the whole human nature part again. There's no way they stop short of your front door in a ridistribution rebellion. You will simply lose every thing you have or die fighting.
