The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. 2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race. Archrival, your viewpoint is very controversial, it suggests to me that you think Blacks are an inferior race. |

personally being brown I have been and seen every facet and side of this issue..you can say I get the best and the worst of everything that race relations have to offer..The most damaging is the institutionalized racism..I have been a frequent target of discrimination in just about every aspect of education and career..and that has left far too many scars on my psyche to be just ignored, dusted off, forgiven and accepted as I have frequently been advised to do...on the other hand..I have suffered head injuries in a racially motivated attack..so I think I have earned my goddamned right if suspect every other white person I meet of being a red neck white trash asshole and having my guards up in pubs and such..because I have certainly been called everything under the sun...and Sept 11 just made things that much better |

but basically my point is that when I was in the States I had tons of Black co-workers I know the cliche..all of us reduced to minimum paying jobs..and I just didn't come across these stereotypes that you are talking of..Thes used to frequently call me my nigga or my sandnigga..and I called them nigga's too and it was all affectionate..some minded me calling them nigga's back and I made a mental note of that and didn't call em that the next time..I think it's really a very personal issue..everyone has a right to be offended and not be called a certain possibly offensive name by anyone they choose to take offense to... |
