It's the best music who I listened in 2002, I don't know who made these ASTROBOTNIA but it has a superior sound and melodies imo.
I love track2 pt.1, I listened it 100 times in this weekend.
The ambient melodies in the background are really complex and deep, the breakbeat and drill' sounds of pt.2 remembers drukqs.
I don't know who is Astrobotnia but it's too complex and various for a "normal" musician... Ovuca couldn't make this alone.
Richard are you there? Is this the right answer to drukqs and warp records? Are you always the king? We'll know soon, i hope...

I like Ovuca and I like Wasted Sunday but there isn't story... ASTROBOTNIA is too superior... believe me.
I'd not understand all this mistery and propaganda about Astrobotnia if it would be only an Ovuca's realese.

Im mean it must be a collaboration.
If its just one person...BANG!!! there u go, now Archrival got another person in his top 10 favourite artists of all time.
THIS DUDE (dudes) GOT RAW TALENT!!! Melodies, drums everything.
I think Ovuca definitly got something to do with this project.

...I think
Astrobotnia pt.1 -track1- (it really seems Ovuca) -track2- (it's my fav, Bbydhyonchord sound but with sawII melodies in the background)
-track3- (Sospicious break drill sounds and nice melodies in the background)
Astrobotnia pt.2 I know only 3 persons who can make these sounds... AFX, SQUAREPUSHER or µziq.
What is Astrobotnia? I can't wait to know...

WOW!!! I got IT!!!!!
Now I know what ASTROBOTNIA IS!!!!!! YIIPPEEE I got the answer.
It really is a OVuca album but every track is a mix by other rephlex artists like Cylob, Bogdan, AFX etc
Because this release got some elements that sound like Cylob, AFX etc, It cant be just one person involved with this project.
ITS A OVUCA album but the tracks is mixed by others.

Pt 1 ... I think is def Ovuca...someone on another mentioned that they've seen him 3 times and he's always played that "Satan is..." track...that and the Astro Botnia town in Finland kinda confirms this...
Pt 2 sounds too much like AFX to be anyone else really...not AFX on his own as the melodies etc are not obviously AFX but style/sound-wise it does...so I reckon AFX remixing Astrob or AFX vs AstroB...
I can't see why else Rephlex would devote such time, secrecy & expense on a new artist....
Regardless of who it is, whoever is behind Pt 2 is extremely talented...hear that Quality!!!!!

If OVUCA really made Astrobotnia pt.1 he could become one of my fav artist... but I've a lot of doubts.
Only track#1 / pt.1 sounds with Ovuca' style.
Astrobotnia could be best 2002 release.

Rephlex MUST TELL US WHO IT IS!!!!
They never told us who Bradley Strider was either, I dont think we will ever know who/what Astrobotnia is.
Rephlex want us to care about "the music" not something else (I agree, thats whats important, but its funny to speculate).
Astro is already a classic.

Astrobotnia could be a new RDJ alias? Astrobotnia could be the strong innovative answer by AFX to Warp records and Drukqs.
Astrobotnia could be simply Ovuca. Astrobotnia could be a collaboration between different RePhLeX artists.
Astrobotnia could be a new misterious man. Astrobotnia could be simply a country in Finland...

Ovuca is a fucking VERY talented artist we already knew that tanx to wasted sunday, now listen to it and to astrobotnia pt1 after... obvious it's the same guy, he as evolved but it's him.
now if you listen part 2 + traks from the rephlex radio show (not the same as those from the site mp3s) it's def another person (afx...)
+ from the radio show there's maybe tracks from astrobotnia pt3... i much prefer the tracks from the readio show than from the mp3s btw
