Astrobotnia is AFX?

When Ovuca released Wasted Sunday or Global Goon released
Vatican Nitez was there so much propaganda on RePhLeX site?

And which are the reasons hidden behind this secret? If
Ovuca would releas Astrobotnia I'm sure RePhLeX site would
write... ASTROBOTNIA by OVUCA, isn't it?
This time ASTROBOTNIA is really a complex and serious game.

the two last songs on the rephlex radio show are ACE !!!
the one before the last is probably from astrobotnia pt2
+ AstroBotnia = AB....
if it's Ostro normaly and they changed it to A it looks like
it's meant to be like that

here's the page where OVUCA says where he's from...

http://www.chronicart.com/eurotronics/itv_ovuca.htm ...

It's in French but even my schoolboy franglais can work out
what "Je vis en Finlande, dans un petit village appelé
Astro Botnia. " .. I live in Finland, in a little
village called Astro Botnia."
...

Could be an eleborate plant of some kind, I guess...Rephlex
f***ing with our minds again...

Bradley Strider is Richard D James, is he not? I thought
everyone agreed by now... Compare Bradley Strider to GAK and
there can really be no doubt about it. It really pisses me
off that I haven't heard Astrobotnia yet...

Helios: Listen to some of the Lactament outtakes, IT HAS
EXACTLY THE same pads as Astrobotnia.

The same synth strings, now I know its just OVUCA. NOT even
a collabo, I BET MY LAST DOLLAR that its just Ovuca and no
one else.

Listen to Onclament and Lactament outtakes, same synth same
drums as astro.

I GOT IT!!! :)

Ovuca has improved NO DOUBT!

Maybe squarepusher is involved allso??

offline revpersona from Plainfield (United States) on 2002-04-22 21:18 [#00189648]
Points: 3167 Status: Lurker

Squarepusher has more of a jazzier sound to his stuff, I
don't really hear it here.

I have my own theory on who or what it could be, but right
now I don't care as long as it's getting released.

Hmmm, found something on a message board at an unofficial
ovuca website. The poster stated this about
Astrobotnia-"astrobotnia is aleksi's friend wilhem from
ostro bothnia (finland)"

Hmmm, dunno if there's any truth to that, or even
furthermore how he'd known that. At any rate I'd thought
I'd share it with you, and here is the link to that site.

http://www.audiblewebdesigns.com/ovuca/

I didn't bother responding to the poster, maybe one of you
will feel compelled.

offline Archrival on 2002-04-23 06:53 [#00190069]
Points: 4265 Status: Lurker

Yeah it can be Wilhem, everythings possible (I still think
its Ovuca).

This release will sell more if we dont know that its Ovuca,
believe me (not in a negative way) all this speculation
leads to a massive hype.

I think Ovuca new that he moves like 15000 units at maximum
and this "Astrobotnia" can sell like 75000 (because of all
the hype and people thinking it can be AFX etc).

Rephlex is pulling a STUNT!!! ITs all HYPE, n I luv it.

I must agree I didnt buy either Onclaments or Lactament (I
copped Wasted Sunday tho).

geogaddi....
its got:
mystery
loads of hype
"subliminal" messages and references to satan, etc...
beautiful melodies...

heheh...rephlex are great

I agree with you... if ppl will not know who astrobotnia is
Ovuca, it will sell much more.
Pt.1 could be Ovuca, but Pt.2 isn't Ovuca for sure.
Track#1 of part2 start as Squarepusher, it has similiar
samplers but then change into AFX or MUZIQ' style.

Astrobotnia is formerly known as Synectics... I think!

Other suspicious...
How many musicians do you know who like barcode so much?
I checked Wasted Sunday by Ovuca or B.Racdzinski on RePhLeX
site and they haven't barcode numbers...
Astrobotnia has evidents barcode wrote on the site... and
they make me think to one person...
