putting on my pants is, obviously, a deeply automatic
routine. i'm so used to doing it that i don't even remember
doing it most days -- i'm lost in thought. thinking about my
day schedule, or whatever... i think that's pretty normal
for most everyone.

which leg do you put in your pants first? twenty-four hours
ago, i genuinely couldn't have told you. the only reason i
paid it any mind today is because things went horribly
wrong.

background story context ~ i injured my right hand. can't
put much of any weight on my pinkie and ring finger before
owOW OW!

then i put the milk down; pour milk with my left hand.
calcium is important.

~ ...anyways, i'm yanked out of my rambling about my day
schedule to find i'm having problems putting on my pants. i
was totally ignoring it and now, boom, i'm just here...
what?

the problem? i put my left leg in first. once things got a
bit down the line, my body got confused: "help! this is not
how putting on pants goes! i'm so fucking confused!"

i think: what the shit? why did i go left-leg first?

after a bit of a think, i came to a hunch: something about
going right leg first probably would have hurt my hand. two
or three days of doing a lot with my left hand that i'd
usually do with my right, and it's begun to sink in a bit
more thoroughly... and, now, it's begun bleeding out in
strange ways that i never could have anticipated.

something in me made the decision to go left-leg first. i'm
feel pretty sure it has to do with my hand, but it's really
a mystery to me. it's a body riddle, yessir

It varies. Mist usually it's right foot in first, but it's
not always the case.

Why? I don't know, possibly it has something to do with
wether I'm feeling really chilled, in which case I don't
care what foot goes in first.

i had a really bad attack of neuralgia the other night, i
felt like someone stuck an ice pick through my face, it was
painful and then numb, i almost passed out through the pain,
thats never happened before it was really weird

have you tried suspending your pants between two chairs and
jumping into them

That's most probably very serious. Sounds like you might
need a colonoscopy, amongst other very seriously painful
tests and exams.

can they get a camera all the way up your bum and into your
brain, i wasnt sure that biology allowed it, unless they
just keep jamming it hard, i suppose we humans are
topologically donuts in a sense so it should be
theoretically possible

so, i'm still thinking @OP:

-it could be hemispherical dominance. doing things from the
left instead of the right has started to get a little more
creative than i expected it to, and so i'm spontaneously
putting on my pants (to the left) wrong simply due to the
focus on doing things leftwards. this means no direct
connection to my injured right digits, aside from that
prompting me to go left.

-it could be i went owOW OW! putting on my pants a day or
two ago and forgot about it consciously, but my body
remembers. it does not remember how to do pants the other
way 'round, though.

-it could be creative synthesis: something in my mind
spontaneously predicted putting on pants rightward might
hurt my finger, and i didn't have to go owOW OW! at all

-it could be a disruption in the ziltichi from
russel's colonoscopy

thogughthts?
