i caught wind of a party rolling to walmart but our party included a gentleman in a yugo yellow motorized wheelchair named ROY and this is on the red line and then the silver line which is the bus and then when we're finally going back from walmart we're on the wrong bus so i get off the bus and there is a bit of drama because... jeez, we're all fine, the bus will turn around and get them there eventually, but i'm sick of this shark wants a wok i get off the bus and GPS screws me over sending me into some apartment complex telling me it's the quincy redline stop i put a wat sticker there and i should probably complain to apple maps anyways then i finally get back to the shelter and the BINS DO NOT FIT by a half inch and obviously i cannot return them because walmart is in quincy which is pretty much like it being on mars because my charliecard is depleted and what do i do with these bins now? i carry them around for a full day before caching them somewhere. now some stupid internet christian will find my bins and steal them as relics or something send me more money please walmart and cvs and other horrible companies keep robbing me |

i'm having some lovely thots tonight that do nothing to help my situation, so why not post them here? for example ~ i suspect you can actually beat the speed of light transmitting information but physical matter may be out of the question unless you want to do the star trek teleporter thing where you are literally torn apart atom by atom, turned into information, sent down the pipe, 4D printed back out etc and that's too messy for me. i think i'll opt to set up a shoutcast stream instead and introduce distant galaxies to j-core is fire a yes or no question? like, can a thing only be on fire, or not on fire? can it be sort of on fire, like smouldering? ok, yes, i think so. so we're going analog, continuous, fuzzy logic, etc -- 60% on fire, 0.6 but then what is fire? it's a continuous process akin to a siphon, same as hurricanes are powered by the energy released during phase transition; latent heat this makes me wonder if it's possible to... pause a fire? like as if it were made of gears and pressing pause stops all the gears from going to the next tooth. that'd make it discrete, and probably no, nope -- it's a continuous dynamic process that only makes sense in moving time. yet, there are things that will happily catch on fire if exposed to open air -- is the fire paused before you take it out the packet? as opposed to a lighter, where the fire does not exist until you start it. then gas and oxygen in a continuous loop. a blunt will stay lit in a tube for a few minutes if you treat it carefully. slow and smouldering. like ~beautiful clean coal~ a cigarette, this does not work nearly as well. so i suspect we are more talking about, like... very carefully shrinking an ember until we hit some bare minimum which reduces the oxygen usage and then we take it back out of the bottle and it cascades and the blunt fires itself back up. yessir |

i have what may be a contentious opinion!! it is: don't smoke blunts. particularly, don't get into rolling them. it's too much. great for the first day then it's just, as the afx would say, a bad head but i will allow them in my thot experiments ~ perhaps, if we stick physics in the eye hard enough and gyro-stabilize the blunt, it will eventually come down to quantum mechanics. is the blunt [within the gyro-stabilized vacuum flask] lit or not lit? this is undetermined. schrodinger's blunt. the waveform collapses when you open the thermos and either the ember cascades into a full smoulder or not but before this undetermined meanwhile: any experiment that does not acknowledge itself as experiment, well, how can that represent reality? what a mess |

this is, i dunno, kind of my netflix and chill, i suppose? on that gnote. this whole thred. i think about all these things because i find it delightful. writing is a pleasure. an indulgence. like cake, corporate metaphor etc. i sneak into the physics lab with the lasers and the 80x20 and steel pegboard so i could use it for the absolute not intended porpoise of using a very serious laser lab to do a projection mapping music video... if it helps i'm a details person all the lasers will be back in the correct bins and somewhere i will also put a wat sticker and it will be tasteful enough that no one can actually bring themselves to remove it; that looks sharp actually yessir |
