I saw Chewbacca mask in a shop today. when you pull down the
jaw you can hear Chewbacca talk. I spent about 5 minutes
pulling down the jaw and listening to the mask talk and
lauging like a kid. Security did not react.

I recently started pre-watching of the saga before The
Premiere, found cool fan edit of Ep I-III into a 100'
mangeable whole with music from Drive and Daft Punk. it's
called Neon Noir, it's on youtube.

despecialized New Hope watched last night - dunno what was
wrong with the originals that Lucas needed to fuck them up.
nevermind, long story. my lady felt sorry for Luke after
his... [spoilers].....so she shed a tear or two.

watching despecialized Empire and Return tonight.

tl;dr: yes

so many bad changes made, parts of original star wars looks
like mid 90s pc computer game fmv cut scenes. I dont want
yoda oven gloves, I just want blu ray of star wars without
the the awful changes,

I can only guess since if I viewed far away with a
telescoope I would burn the telescope. I'm sure every
decision is bad and accumulates into a slab of sunny side
down diarrhea (hey I spelled that correctly, turns out it's
such a fitting description of everything that I used it
enough to become part of my correctly spelled vocabulary
rotation), such as mario or link's chosen voices post 16
bit, that is fit for what hugo de garris, who recently made
a video about jews taking over the world with their superior
intellect, calls the "peakers". Ie. the people at the top of
the bell curve, the average idiots that act as a herd for
all the intelligent (and evil, since intelligence is mostly
a weapon) people to trick money out of. They are what drive
the entire economy. Nothing has to be bought, everyone could
grow their own food and live in a cheap hexayurt they build
themselves, but the whole system is devised to completely
suck these peakers dry like ants and their honey dew making
slave aphids. Like this whatever movie is one such way. I'm
sure it will be "on sale" on black friday. All you have to
do is watch the "Nooooooooo" darth vader scene to
knooooooooooooow that the entire memeplex has been given
aids, herpes, crabs and diarrhea, intentionally? probably
intentionally by some who benefit from a dumbed down
population but I'm sure some of the creators were useful
idiot manipulated peakers themselves. I mean look at mad
max, they called it "guzzle-line" instead of gasoline,
that's just so freaking stupid, and they have water scarcity
yet distribute it via waterfall with like 95% waste. Don't
even pirate this shit, but if you do use private internet
access like PIA, cuz the stupid ISPs are fascist like all
corporations and taddle if you don't, even though
intellectual property is a fraud like stephan kinsella says.
The only real intellectual property is the new invention of
the public ledger such as bitcoin because it has a mechanism
to mimic real world scarcity.

I notice a part of the force awakens trailer looks like
studio ghibli 'castle in the sky' , the tall robot things.

did you know mark hamill was a voice in studio ghibli
nausicaia and castle in the sky.?

I think these movies will be great. i just hope luke makes
an entrance at some point not to near the end.

it will be a sad movie though. i see everyone crying
hugging and stuff.

where the hek is c3po?

i wish i had not seen any trailers.

Will go see it in January. I love the original movies but
I'm no fan boy so I don't really care. I think it will be
entertaining at least.

Not excited. Never have been. Maybe I've to watch all the
movies in a row to get somewhat excited but I think I've
better things to do, like watching all that other movies I
planned to see once 😂

^ your probably right, power of nostalgia, my expectations
are minimal so i hope to be pleasantly surprised, going to
see it tomorrow, i think JJ Abrams films have all be
mediocre at best so far, all of his films look more like
comic books than films or something. oh fuck i just
realised he wrote Armageddon i fucking hate that film

If it wasn't for Jodorowskys intricate art work for the
abandoned movie Dune, Star wars would not be what it is.
They mined a lot of ideas from the drawings, for an artist
it must feel like being raped

^Yes that Is one film really should have been made, Giger,
Chris Foss, Dan O'Bannon, etc etc.. Mike Jagger and Salvador
Dali as the emperor

, I kind of like David Lynch's visual style for Dune, the
film itself is a bit pedestrian, i love the book however
very creative

I'm surprised no one ever animated Jodorowsky's Dune. They
have all the storyboards and designs and everything. Be nice
if they did it while Jodo's still alive.

I loved in the documentary where Jodo is talking about
trying to recruit Trumbull for the fx and he's giving them
the high hat, and Jodo is all "you are not my espiritual
warrior!" It's like he was starting a cult, not organizing a
movie production. And what a cult, I would have joined.

""

HINT TOWARD A

SPOILER !!!!!!!!

"

I thought there was allot of great moments and the young
actors were great, but I was not happy with the death.I wish
that did not happen. :.(

Chewie was great.. . i was worried, because in a trailer
"Chewie we're home!" his mouth was not in sync and looked
wrong. but in the movie you can see they had cut and re
sampled his voice in the trailer. but Chewie was awesome : )
as was Han. :.(

looking forward to seeing Luke and R2 in action in the next
one.

: )

My cousin pissed off people at work by saying "he dies".
Spoilered, not. He hadn't even seen the film and was joking.
Predictable Hollywood story.

Saw it last night. It's a vanilla flavoured Star Wars with
new characters. Enjoyed it in 3D. It does have a comic book
vibe of jumping around different scenes from one
coincidental meeting to another. Han Solo looks OLD. And the
film breaks the fourth wall with annoyingly emotional music
when the old actors show up for their first scene.

^ which was your favourite?

I liked the force awakens, i however i think the nostalgia
factor is still too large for the original 3 films i feel
like i dont actually need any more star wars than that,

I'll probably watch any new ones but if they release the
original theatrical releases in HD that would make me
happier

just makes me realise how so very lucky we are to have 'A
new hope' and 'the empire strikes back'.

They are actually miracles of nature.

I can watch those movies without wanting to change anything.

and still to this day am amazed at the sounds and the visual
effects= knowing how they were made, of course. the
beautiful story and the chemistry of the actors, the flow
the originality.

john williams the way the music fits all the way tot he
destruction of the Death star. OMG.

I don't think it is because i was brought up these movies.

There's one scene in 3d where you see Finn's big fat nose
poke out of the huge cinema screen. It's like the Jaws scene
from Back to the Future only with a black guy's mountainous
nose.

IMAX in 3d is good but normal screens leave a bit to be
desired i find, overall i just prefer to watch in 2D i get
the impression the 3D thing is a bit of a distraction if the
film i shit
