I havent seen it since the cinema, your correct i think it being not a clusterfuck like the prequels made me think it was better than it is, in reality it was quite pedestrian, i cant imagine them making a truly great star wars movie again |

it's like in the first abrams star trek where they show kirk banging a green girl and everyone's like, oh shit, shout out to the fans, except the force awakens is like that for the whole. fucking. movie. Nothing but callbacks, shout outs and do overs. OK they changed some things, yoda is a girl now and she owns the cantina. All the characters have traditional star war names like jums jumpy and gorko flops. The death star is bigger and has a really expensive charger. I'm having more fun dunking on it than I did watching it. Please, someone do an MST3K of it. |

he ruined star trek even now, what dimension am I in when the latest star trek is directed by the guy who did fast and the furious, what the fuck. as predictable, rote and unambitious as the new star wars was, at least it had the feeling of a star wars film. the new star trek the only relation to the past star trek is the uniforms and character names |
