Hello Xltronic members, I will pause Xltronic for a while. There are many reasons for this, here are some: - Internal complaints regarding abusing (due to non-existant moderation) - External complaints (abuses) - Lack of interest/time from my side - Outdated design/content/code - ... Maybe Xltronic will revive one day in another form, but for now it has to be parked. I will initiate the process within a few days... |

I think an ellipsis isn't a valid enough reason to close doors at XLT. The website is a seat for snail's pace discussion under the blank rifle fire from duplicate accounts; surely you shouldn't 'pause' the website because of the mold forming on the walls, but give proven users the means to tackle it. Most 'abuse' on the site is bidirectional: flaccid attempts at trolling by duplicate accounts, and sardonic rebuttal from forum regulars, though I don't use the site often enough to confirm. All I know is that the forum-flooding bumps of older threads, and posting of new threads with racial epithets as the title have gone down to almost zero. Plz dun close doors m8. |

I think along with the joy of using Xltronic the site, and they great people I've met here over the years, one thing that's kept me here is the enigmatic Phobiazero. Who really knows this guy? This lofty father figure. This god-like being that can now switch us and XLT history off forever? Will we ever get a glimpse at the real Matias, apart from his penchant for TNT and a dwindling interest in Excellent Electronic Music? We remember the bad times, the "xltronic falldown", but let us not forget the AMAZING times. I feel bad to this day that in my pomp as a mod I didn't truly understand XLT and wanted to warp and fashion it into how I thought it should be. I was wrong. Though not about tibbar or childrentalking. Or Jedi Chris. Tridenti! Innocence personified! Now where is he? He's probably got a good job, a nice car and a girlfriend. Maybe even pubic hair? Woofter, in the pool. Which is the best Aphex Twin track with "calx" in the title? Dunno? Jivver! Still not sunk in, too sad. Horsefactory, Fleetmouse, Earthleakage, qrter, giginger, anus_presley, deepspace9mm, stian, mimi, uviol, ceri, hanal, jaroen, pomme, svalx, big... and so many other lovely people. The only reason I ever post on forums or came here was because I was stuck at work or waiting in line somewhere. The only times I would come onto forums in my spare time would be to settle some argument with some huge narcissistic attention entitled loser These places are all pathetic and being part of any community like this requires no artistic merit whatsoever, nor does running one. |
