It's nice to hear this place is going to stay! This was the first message board I ever joined. I was so young when I first came here (as is evident by how dumb my cap shifting is in my name). I learned so much though. |

I'm actually really impressed that the avatar function works now... So I suppose a secret of life is to deprive another of basic necessities for ages, and then surprise and please them when giving them the privilege of normal functionality. I'm taking notes on this shit. |

I don't care if this has been said. But, are here a group of people committed, that can take care of Xltronic? I think we can if we wanted to, right? There are various cheap formats. To make something like, xltronic rebirth. Don't care if the page at first looks cheap, but I'm fond of you guys. And have been having friends here for like 12 years or so, maybe more :-( will be sad to see us group of friends die :-( |

At risk of telling you what you already know, the avatar can only be .gif or .jpg format, with exact dimensions 60x80. It looks as though you are a premium member (name shows up in bold on the member list), though I'm not sure if that's even still a thing or just a relic of the old site code. Anyway, I think regular members were at one point limited to a filesize of 20kb while premium members could use a 40kb image. It may be 40kb for everyone now. Anyway, the three requirements are: 1) .gif or .jpg format 2) 60x80 pixel resolution (exactly) 3) 40kb or smaller in size. If you need an image program that can resize/crop things to 60x80 and save them in the proper formats, please check out , it's free and great. Hope this helps! |
