"Worth a listen."

I'll be the judge of that!!

Wow, quality, unique and liquidy indeed.
4 & 1 are my favorites.
1 uses that type of dripping water drum technique that
autechre used in one of their tracks, forget which probably
a later track on ep7 or lp5. I guess you just time the hits
to be slightly randomly off the main grid.
and 4 does that alienish tuss, I guess, style, uh acid. Not
sure what you call that or how to do it, but I've heard that
technique elsewhere multiple times and done quite nice here.

I really like 'esose3'. Must admit that I was more into your
old sound, but it's a good EP nonetheless.
Is the wobble on 'Aam' a sample, where the LFO is the
samples lenght, or did you deliberately change the LFO per
tone? It has a great effect.

review as i listen

1. nice lady voice. who is that? nice LFO stuff going on.
nice clicking beats. some very subtle bass. i want more. not
entirely feeling this track. it's very well put together,
but it's not for me right now unfortunately.

2. oooh cool. nice beats straight off. interested to see
where this is going.

umm. kinda wishing there was more of a leading melody in
here. probably just not my thing : P

3. sort of reminds me of ital tek. glad to see a more
obvious melody here. also that voice. really reminds me of
something.. can't put my finger on it though!

4. i like the acid sound!

5. this is quite nice and chill. am enjoying it more further
on

overall though, i have to say it wasn't entirely my bag
(bag? what bag?)

i celebrate and encourage all the effort you put into this
though!

The bass isn't subtle at all, but you need deep response to
hear it :p

o shit, bought this 30 seconds into "almost!" haven't gotten
all the way thru, but this sounds like it'll be exactly the
kind of stuff i'm digging at the moment - screwed vocals and
heavy bass!

btw also really like that "kill him" track you posted the
other day. any chance you could send that one my way ;)

Well that varies a lot. But subtractive EQing on "every"
mixer channel to sculpt the soundscape in bass, mid, top
etc, different types of sound
colorisation(hardware/software/ir), compression on the right
elements.

I like 2-5. Track one sounds like James Blake and Dana
International made a lukewarm lovechild.
1,6/2 thumbs up.

typing as I'm listening....

1. fem voc sample puts me off right away, sorry. my
chees-o-meter needs recalibrating, perhaps
2. very good
3. good/very good. voc samples not annoying. the little
synthy end is sweet
4. i like it from the start. the analordy sounds'n'tricks
got explored to death by a few xlticians already but here
they have their proper space and shine. good timing sense,
too: the track could end around 4' - and it does! congs.
5. oh no the pitchy vocals again ! has the whole
electronic music world gone crazy ??!!
.... but rest of
the sounds hold the tracky very well. relaxy and smoothy.
like. :freqy_dancers:

ok, listening to track 1 again......[please wait].......when
the singing lady is away teh track is really minimally cool
and could last much longer imo. especially from the half of
it on.

production - superb as usual. I'm up for 12" [cassette??]
version of the EP when/if it appears. 4 and a half
peachforks. cheers.
