exactly! it is a beautiful album, with typical clark sounding but not typical clark structure/weird twists/sound transformation, what i miss. Its like he felt the need of getting in touch with instruments (guitar, harpsicord..), a bit late, just like aphex, boc, bogdan etc etc did long time before. Yet, some amazing synth-sound-melodic work! |

dunno, i only listened turning dragon once, i think, i didnt really liked it, or not much, cant remember. You will enjoy it if you like trademark clark sounds and synths and dont mind for quite, regular tunes with no much change and just some beats here and there. + add 3 versions of the same tune + some ambient tracks (obviously to fucking finish the album) and youve got it |

Snoozefest. I've always thought Clarks stuff worked best in short snippets like on clarence Park, but I guess he never thought to go back there. |

I like it but I miss some aggression, it's like he was in love for the first time while making it. wanna know what happened ? I'll tell you what happened: clark invites Bibio and that singer, former tricky's girlfriend (?), Martina, for a recording session of his new album. they bring him a can of redbull as a gift. he drinks that not knowing they'd decided to pull his leg - they put sleeping pills in the redbull which has disastrous effect: Clark falls asleep for 24h. don't ask me how. Bibio and Martina start checking what's on Clark's pc. they find various FL Studio projects on desktop. fire them, start messing with them, add acoustic guitar parts and singalongs. they blow the fuse in the meantime = hence little beats and proper bass on Iradelphic. before Clark wakes up with massive headache the album is already ripped to wavs and sent to Warp. when Clark edits those Floops, surprised they're so messed up and sends wavs to Warp they email him back "dude, why sending the wavs again?? you already sent them! album is already pressed. love. Warp". Clark finds the fuse blown and empty can of redbull in toilet and starts weeping. TRUE STORY |

totally on point with what happened to iradelphic, although i think he was not quite asleep yet for com touch, as i think that track is quite nice on an otherwise SNOOZE fest. hoping for a small juicier EP perhaps? i still think clark has major talent though and i am not ready to throw the towel in with him. |

really like iradelphic. it's like some folk albums i listened to as a lad, with clark's electroacoustic noodling sprinkled all over. might get my parents a copy of it; should go over a bit better than vsnares |
