I like "(Oversteps—" as the official title , reminds me of
"Tri Repetae++"

except "Tri Repetae++" is only the title of the US release
with the two additional EPs on it. Wax Trax probably did
that

Autechre is the most sophisticated phenomenon in electronic
music. The music will live in millennaric eons.

It sounds like a cat trying to move a tree with its mind.
I'm not bothering with the vinyl and have opted for the CD +
24bit wav.

Hmmmm, have a listen to this:

http://drop.io/ae_os_pm

It could very well be genuine - but then again - it could
very well be not. A higher resolutuion could make it
interesting music in either cases.

After having listened to it a few times now I actually think
its real, until 3:44 or so... weird shit!

Can't wait for this! No seriously I can't wait.
This and Flying Lotus!!
2010 will definitly be an inspirational year. I have yet to
find anyone that reaches the same sophisticated mind blowing
brain fuckling level that Autechre does.

People dissing Quaristice can go listen to John Mayer (why
is that dude promoted on this site?). The Quadrange EP's
have some of Autechre's most magical and minimalistically
beautiful work yet.

In anticipation of Oversteps I've been caning Quaristice,
Versions and Quadrange EPs this past week. Was never very
taken with them before but I have reached the conclusion
that they are each quite excellent (I'm even smitten with
the majestic drone of Perlence Subrange 6-36). Bring on
Oversteps!!

i like tankakern, paralel suns, and some other ones.
quadrange is my favorite collection of songs from the 3..
i think its quite excellent and immersive.

I had to organise the quadranges into the 4 commercial
bundles to fully appreciate them. I think I prefer the
Quaristice original in the end. I didn't use to, but there
is just something about that lush, blue record that seems
more appealing to me now than the rest of the lot... need to
listen to it when I hit the sack tonight, I think...

i know, i think it's cruel to tease us like this with an
upcoming release. i would rather have them waited until a
couple weeks before the release date to let us know. less
agonizing.
