This album is the best album they have done in years IN MY
OPINION.

Active listening ftw - today I had to take the tram to and
back from work and had Oversteps on and I decided: I like
it. First half is better though. Second is, like, ok while
the first is very ok. Lots of bass whatsoever. I'm finally
mates with this album - took me a year, heh. The 180grams
are on to-buy list now. Peace.

I liked ilanders and a few others immediately, but after
awhile I started to get really vivid "images" and atmosphere
from the synths and sounds in general, thus opening up the
rest of the album too. It's hard to explain but it's a
really rich sound, and very characteristic, and that's why I
love it. It was a big adjustment from Untilted and Draft and
all that, but after awhile it all made sense too. All in all
I love the album, and MOT too, and I think there is a real
depth to the atmosphere and mood but couldn't put it into
words.

sonically, the quality (mastering?) is light years ahead of
draft and especially confield.

i dont knnow how else to put

oversteps a lot warmer and well rounded somehow, but draft
and confield also have their charm in terms of quality.
maybe more raw and grittier? in some ways oversteps is on
the other spectrum of "polished" it sounds very soft and
crafted, confield is more experimental. when i listen to the
beats on like ilanders theyre just so well crafted and such
a warm interesting timbre. its more than the mastering
though, its the whole process they used, hehe
