Following hot on the heels of recent album Just A Souvenir, Squarepusher will release a brand new six track EP 'Numbers Lucent' on January 19th. Allegedly taking Tom's raving heritage as its inspiration, the new EP serves to highlight and contrast the vibrant fantasy band album that is 'Just a Souvenir', with 6 self styled explorations of dance floor psychedelia. (Between us - it's an 'aving it rave grenade, Squarepusher style). |

i had to laugh out loud while reading the description of the EP. squarepusher sure is one unpredictable guy. what will come next? a country rock album? electro pop? who cares, really? sure, his releases are hit and miss but they're always entertaining in my opinion. you just got to love his creativity and "i do what i want and don't give a fuck" attitude. keep 'em coming, mr. pusher of squares! |

we should all be grateful that he chooses to share his music with us, one of the very greatest contemporary musicians (in the top 3 even). I don't like everything he does, i do love 80% of it, but i respect and appreciate all of it, don't knock him, be positive. and don't mind waiting... he is best at dj dance rave trax too IN MY OPINION |

on monday evening before the gig my mate asked TJ to sign the S-pusher photos he handed to him. he said "no problem", signed them, smiled, said "see you later" and went his way. i'm just saying maybe pomme could have waited a few years more and approach him when he was in better mood or push him back, dunno |

I have a fairly strong feeling that the next Squarepusher album, which will probably come out sometime around september of 2010, will be called "The Wind Turbine". Sounds reasonable does'nt it? The reason i suspect this is i think i found a draft of the little story that will accompany the release. You can find it |
