mp3 of illegal dustbin

starts off alright, descends into the worst attempt at
breakcore/gabba ever

terrible, just terrible

It has some interesting ideas, but it almost dips into
Pendulum-style wankness at times. Or something Liam Howlett
would probably like to make these days. I reckon it'd go
down well in a live/club setting though and I guess thats
the point.

He won't beat Anstromm-Feck 4 for full-on rave bass goodness
though.

the latest album was crap.
square should settle down with his guitar and stop trying to
incorporate the two...

...then sample it for a drum loop.

he's just going into another direction. this ep was not much
more than a pleaser for the fans of the old squarepusher,
imo. he'd be better of releasing music under another
pseudonym. all the current crap he's getting from the
community would disappear like snow in the autumns sun.

Helsinki, noice... have only seen it from the airport bus
and then the railway station, looked cozy with all the hills
downtown.
hey if there is anything electronic music going on in
Finland, feel free to shout cuz well umm Imatra yeah, it has
a pub or two with rock/metal music and two bad night clubs.
Also a river. And one can walk to the border of Mother
Russia from here, should exchange some thoughts with Mrs
Palin maybe... but there's also shy, finnish art students
and some of them are highly sexable so i'm not bored.

i'm 26 btw and got hair on the chest, but i thoroughly
trimmed the fur in the dirty bridge just yesterday btw imo
fyi giggle.

yea, I've been to Imatra a few times, mostly summertime, in
university related issues (semiotics and such). I've even
slept at the nice hotel there. Didn't really experience much
nightlife, but the pizza was good. Well, student life can be
fulfilling in such tight-knit circles, at least.

yea give me a shout when you come to helsinki, there's
always something going on. I also have a pretty good hang of
the local scene, so I'm up on the IDM/weird techno events.
There's always something going on, I guess.

Heliacal Torch is pretty bad-ass.

I don't think this marks a 'return' to anything. This stuff
is still very different from the work he's done before, and
definitely well aligned with the previous, much-maligned
LP.

Squarepusher is great. He releases often, and always keeps
you interested in what he's going to do next.

whatever you think about the styles he is about now, both of
these are pretty accomplished sounding. he is really
skilled at what he does. JAS does have some funny moments,
but its a neat concept and it is cool that he did it. just
have to expect a certain amount of pop, beard, and
neverending story elements going on.
