anyone else trying it out?

after a few minutes of use, i get the feeling i'd switch
over immediately if there were an adblocker already out for
it

It's OK. Feels a bit basic but I'll continue to try it.

WebKit based, didn't realise? Should be good for cross
platform apps.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US)
AppleWebKit/525.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/0.2.149.27
Safari/525.13

Adblocker plugin for chrome makes me 10 times less likely to punch the
screen in a rage.

Great browser. Just remember, if a site doesn't work
properly on chrome, it's because the site doesn't
stick to proper established formats; not because Chrome is
flawed. Take a principled stand and discontinue use of the
site*, not Chrome.

*if you really have to use it, use "IE Tab for
Chrome".

Thanks for the anchor text link, please ban yourself for
spamming. Xltronic has doesn't even have a number value for
a page rank; its page rank is like the "&" symbol or
something, its like that foreign car from the simpsons where
the dealer said "put it in H".

chrome was great, but has been steadily been getting slower
in my experience.

the ui and extensions keep me with it tho - i work in a web
browser all day and switching from chrome would just be too
much of a difference in my workflow at this point.

if only safari displayed favicons within tabs, allowed
pinned tabs, and didn't stretch every tab so they're all the
same size in relation to the browser window i could deal -
they did finally combine the search bar and address bar. no
idea why it took apple 6 years to catch up with than
innovation.

In 2015, Apple will become so minimal, that the whole
operating system will be in a search bar. No keyboard, no
input devices- just search bar. You power up your iMac
rev2015, and there will just be a search bar, on a 32"
50,000p monitor.

Patience my friend..... Patience.

Plus, it'll be really stable, powerful and never get
viruses. No fan noise or moving parts either. The physical
device it comes in will have aesthetes fainting. You won't
be able to do anything on it, but that's missing the
point.

you can only simplify a tool so far before sacrificing its
raw capability.

I have no reason to but I always run the dev version. Rarely
any problem.
I removed AdBock too. Web ads are significantly less
annoying than they ever used to be.

"Adblock Plus" is great for getting rid of youtube ads.
They're what annoy me most. I think youtube need a new ad
model. Maybe just having a "related ads" section away from
the video is the way to go: If I'm watching a video, it's
way too intrusive having TV-style "commercials".

I just use YouTube Options for those ones.

Tab syncing between computers/phones etc; is ace. Especially
send to mobile.

yep, pretty much what it sounds like - can send any pages
you're on straight to your android via a lil button.

i'd prolly use it all the time if i was able to keep my
android on for more than 6 hours.

Yeah, if it sends the whole form as it's filled in (rather
than just the URL) it sounds pretty risky from a security
POV.
