The United States is the only country in the world not
broadcasting the games live.

The decision was taken so as to maximise advertising
revenues.

Great.

The opening ceremonies contained some of the most
spectacular sights I've ever seen. I couldn't believe those
boxes were controlled by people!

Good thing they kept that ugly little girl off camera. I
mean she can sing alright but the girl they used on stage
was way hotter.

Saw a synchronized diver get a hard-on last night and cover
it up with his towel. That's what it's all about right
there.

Actually, I didn't even know synchronized diving existed,
but for those 20 minutes I watched it, I learned quite a lot
of the nuances, dynamics and mechanics. After a handful of
dives, I was accurately predicting what scores the judges
were going to award, and critiquing the divers' form and
execution. And watching the dives with the Matrix-cam, it's
pretty amazing to actually notice the little moves they pull
in the blink of an eye of while they're spinning around. I
think it's either very impressive or very flawed that the
judges just go by their naked eyes, because I can't fathom
how somebody could actually properly evaluate one of those
dives without slowing it down.

i love sport ...but for the sake of baby jesus lets just go
down the local park and film it with nice hd cameras
..donated by cannon/sony or something? it'd be lovely....and
we'd have 4 or 5 billion...billion. pounds to save all the
starving people or construct a solar desert and power europe
for little baby jesus's sake.

The majority enjoy the olympics, therefore all members of
xltronic.com must hate it.

I love the olympics. Sure it's a lot of money spent, that
could no doubt be spent elsewhere, but I still think sports
can do a bit of good.
