Bought it this morning, game is easily one of the best and
most addicitive on the wii at the moment, the online play is
smooth as hell.

The wheel thing is ok but prefer using a gc controller,
graphics wise not much of an improvement over Double Dash.

Overall a fucking great game and one of the best online
multiplayer games i have played

anyone want to gimme some friend codes

Is Yoshi in it? I only like Yoshi pre GBA/GC days because
they changed the sound. It's a shame they keep changing the
Karts design for the worse, now there's even bikes.

today. I haven't got it myself yet so I will reserve
judgement.

Us Americans have to wait until the 27th, but I'd love to
exchange friend codes with you when it finally releases. Do
you play Smash Bros? I'd be game for some online play if you
are still playing that.

No you don't need to do that man, just go in the wi-fi
connection section and find out the "register friend codes"
thingie. However at first, you are not able to display the
person you've added, until he adds your code as well. I
think your problem might be solved now lt me know.

Anyway I forgot to post my code:

1118 - 0366 - 7006 - Tridenti

Was playing this lastnight. Good fun! My friend neglected to
tell me to bring the nunchuck, so I ended up looking like a
really cool dude steering with the wiimote while they sat
there calmly twiddling the knob.

I can imagine this being super dooper fun with everyone
steering with the remote and having a couple of beers. I
know it did the trick for me. The wii has captured the real
spirit of old computer games, i.e. naff gfx/sounds but great
fun.

Can anyone tell me if there's some trick to using the
Gamecube controller for this? My mate doesn't buy Wii games
he downloads em and we plugged in the GC controller to give
that a try but couldn't get it going and obviously have no
instructions.

I was up until 1am playing last night. Gold on all 50cc
tracks, done! Next; gold on 100cc tracks, but I don't think
I will do it in one sitting. I really like the way the game
feels. MarioKart for the SNES was the best racing game ever
and they have done it justice.

Man I like the wheel but after playing Double Dash 4 player
for like three years and becoming a master at it, playing
with the wheel is like learning to walk again.

You can use that? I thought the tv advert was bullshit and
you couldn't. I dunno if that would work for me to be
honest, I wanna cheat and use the classic controller! I like
however how online play shows who's using the wheel. Btw -
what does a gold wheel signify? Anyone?

I don't know about the classic but I can confirm the
nunchuck works. It is worth learning to use the wheel, I was
sceptical to begin with, but I would recomend using it.

I finally got it. I really like everything about it except
for the constant blue shells that kick my ass everytime I'm
in first place. If they would have toned those down, as well
as the POW blocks, I'd give it a 10/10.

the gamecube controllers are easily the best for this game.
the wii-mote nunchuk combo works, but the GCC is way better
imo.

POST YOUR FRIEND CODE.
