I'm really surprised at all the negative reviews this film
has gathered. I don't know if I want to see it now...

does anybody have anything good to say about it?

Slumdog Millionaire 1/5

Gran Torino - 3.5/5

What a shame, so many things right about this film but just
as many wrong... what is unforgivable and really hurts the
film is some horrendous acting by the sister and brother, of
which I haven't seen since Diary of the Dead. Overall I
really enjoyed it but its not quite the classic it could
have been.

Taking Sides - 6/10

okay movie, nothing special, nice topic.

Brown Bunny - 6/10

i should probably give this movie a lower rating, but it
kind of endeared me towards the end... mostly by fulfilling
my fantasies about Chloe Sevigny.

it's the max-rating i give any film

Though in The Fly the actress opposite Jeffgoldblum really
annoys me, and this system doesn't leave any room to account
for that

Agreed - Eastwood apart - the acting in Gran Torino is
film-ruiningly awful. For a man of Eastwood's standing I was
shocked he could employ such useless actors.

As for the film, starts off well but rapidly declines into
rushed, nonsensical crap.

Watchmen - 3/5

The glossiness the director insists on is annoying and so is
Nixon's nose. Overall a decent adaption all things
considered.

"In the Realm of the Senses" and "Blissfully Yours" are both
4+, and my favorites. Why don't you watch them sometime?
"Cache", "Wolf Creek", and "Contempt" were memorable and
also good.

Biggest Dissapointment of late - 007: Quantum Of Solice -
0/5

Think of a string of action scenes that indeed, sum up to
way less than the sum of their parts. The easiest bond to
forget imo.
The Transporter 3 gave me more thrills to my surprise.

now or not

Let The Right One In - 5/5

wow, just wow...

Shitty American remake (once again) on the way! This is just
ridiculous, how can anyone remake a film that is already
near perfect, find another story to do!!

What a complete waste of time, money and talent (?)
Hollywood remakes and sequels are.
