Ashes of Time Redux: 4.5/5 Chungking Express: 4.5/5 Can't decide between these two, Chungking Express was the first Wong Kar Wai film I seen so it has a special place, however Ashes has loads of of my favourite Asian actors in it. Both excellent films anyway and the blu-ray editions are excellent! |

Curious Case of Benjamin Button: 2.5/5 Really disappointed with this one. BUT the more i hear about the special effects and cgi, the more i want to watch it again, especially when the DVD extras are released. Brad Pit is only actually on screen about 30% of the time apparently. the rest is CGI Brad Pit If there's one thing i've always appreciated about David Fincher films, it's the way he uses CGI. Often indetectable, or else used for interesting or impossible camera shots/angles. Curious Case of Forest Gump is full of this kind of thing. |

Curious Case of Benjamin Button: 0/5 Most boring film of all time. Seriously it could have been the story of a man who turns into a dog, the story (is there a story ???) has nothing to do with the principal subject. And Brad Pitt isn't doing a thing during the movie, only searching for his lost love and getting back to his black mum... It's funny because originaly Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a short story. Well I'm tempted to say the shorter jokes are the better... Reekers 2 / curse of the Reeker : 4/5 Really inventive horror film like the first one. |
