nothing to pay attention to. dont leave food in the fridge
too long, it spoils itself.

Watched ''SSSSSS'' on the Space Channel the other night...
the good looking guy from A-Team was turned into a King
Cobra by the Captain from Cool Hand Luke. Cool casting, cool
title, boring C-movie, worst ending I've ever seen in a
movie, ever. 3/10

Fire Walk With Me is good (great even), but the series
itself (season 1 at least) is somehow more compact, even if
it's longer.
...

- Child's Blood 1/5, dreadful korean attempt at kitsch
horror.

- Mind Game 5/5, fantastic(al) piece of anime surrealism.
Never heard of it? Hurry up and find out!

Syriana 3/5

Jeez this movie was such a chore. I was totally lost for
most of it. I thought it was because I was tired or
distracted but then I got on the IMDB message boards and it
seems I am not alone. It is one damn confusing movie. I
watched it a second time and it became a little more clear,
but there are still some sub plots that remain enigmatic to
me. This could have been a 4 or 5 star movie if it was
edited together a little less.. hmm.. mushy?

Long Way Round (series) 4/5

Finished up this series today, about Ewen McGreggor and
Charlie Boorman circling the planet on BMW motorcycles.
Very enjoyable. Ewen and Charlie are charming pair of
fellows. I really felt like I was struggling along with
them on their ride east from London around the world the
long way to New York city. They have many many amazing
adventures on their trip which makes this series very much
worth watching.

no i wasnt too bored by the film. the child i took was
though as were most of the children in the cinema. i suppose
i should wait til the third one comes out as it did feel
like it was building to something but as a stand a lone film
i felt it was too long without being engaging enough.

is that alright?

pirates of the carrabean 2 has some fun scenes, but the
movie is way too long and boring. for alot of it i was just
sitting there thinking 'wait a minute, i'm bored again'

on another note, i watched kill bill 1 n 2 the other day and
i love those movies. really enjoyable. 8ish-9ish out of 10
or so.

I couldn't relate. I never lived that type of scene. My
rating is purely from the story being told which could have
been a lot better. Besides, I'd already seen American
Graffiti--which this is a clone of, or at least modeled
after--and liked it a lot more.

American Graffiti - 4.5/5

v for vendetta 1/5

what a shit film. it's like they had the whole story but
presented it the wrong way. entire thing was spoonfed. there
was no room for interpretation. they tried to hard to make
each moment an epiphany to the crucial storyline, but it
came and went so fast I thought, well what the fuck who
gives a shit? hmm, maybe a flashback will better describe
the already obvious plot. this could have been a great film
if just about every aspect of it's production was changed.
firstly, let's find the editors and storyboard guys and
shoot them in the head.

i just love these kinds of movies. character studies.
Dazed is great because we get to just hang out with a bunch
of kids on an important day in their lives. i also really
like the parallels between the groups of kids. like the
junior high kids that can't wait to get to highschool, while
the seniors are dreaming of when they finally get to
college. then you have wooderson, who is in college, and he
can't seem to leave the high school parties. "thats what i
love about these highschool girls man. I get older, they
stay the same age... yes they do.."

sort of a bleak movie for a comedy, really.

the mystery in the plot they tried to incorporate was so
linear that it wasn't a mystery at all. you don't think, oh
wow that's really woven together nicely, you end up
thinking, god damn i need a fucking bib.

had a nice concept mind you, i liked the message somewhat.
and there were moments where I wanted to fuck natalie
portman's brains out. maybe I was just a bit horny. it
happens when im bored. because this movie was boring. lol.

I disliked V for Vendetta primarily because I read the book
when I was younger and it was one of my favourites, meaning
the film never stood a chance. The pointless changes to the
plot got right on my nerves and i agree with you entirely
about feeling like the film was holding your hand all the
way through. My girlfriend enjoyed it though! Alan Moores
stuff doesnt seem to translate well to film unfortunately
(see league of extraordinary gentlemen) but ive still got
hopes for Watchmen, just because the source material is so
good.

some spanish movies(we had a bit of a spanish film summer on
tv):

- Hable con ella: 4/5 (movie about talking to a woman in a
coma)
- Amantes del Círculo Polar 3/5 (get a bit dull near the
end but good overal)
- Abre los ojos 4/5 (spanish original to vanilla sky is a
bit better)
- Lucia y el sexo 3/5 (it was a bit vague for me)

I saw the new Willy Wonka with Johnny Depp. I loved the
original. I thought the new one put style over substance. It
sucked basically. Looked good doing it though. The humour
of the original wasn't there at all and it felt choppy and
had zero character development.
