dark matter church

"Three new dark-matter churches for London.

Three dark-matter churches are to be constructed at key
points in the old city of London, forming a triangular
pattern at the heart of the capital. Constructed entirely
out of dark matter, the churches are designed with no
windows or doorways. The Archbishop of Canterbury has
expressed concern over the project, due to begin in late
2003." -Reuters

How can it be built from dark matter??? Is that possible?

i even built a dark matter - helmet for my little rabbit as
you can see.

well, he needet it.
hitting the atmosphere at the speed of light can get quite
hot.

i'm especially proud of the extra extension for his ears.

isn't the existance of dark matter only been proven because
the effects of the matter can be seen, without the
actual matter being visible..?

yeah, it's a rather complicated thing. on the one hand it is
needed to explain the dynamics of galaxy groups but it
cannot be any known form of matter cause we simple would
take notice. the lower border for the avarage matter density
in the universe that comes from observation is far beyond
the density needed to explain these dynamics.
on the other hand galaxys on the edge of our visible
universe are accelarating, a fact that cannot be explained
by 'ordinary' general relativity. Only a cosmological
constant could do the trick of, but this would rule out the
effect of the first assumption, the high 'invisible' mass
density.
We now are again at the stage of late 19th century, where
almost everything was understood except some curiosities.
those curiosities lead to a whole new sight, however.

mm. if and when we find those answers, it'll probably mean a
shift in the paradigm.

yeah for sure, i before the holidays we were working on a
little thingy (i'm studying theoretical physics) that string
theory lead us to (noncommutative field theorie it's
called), but it didnt work. what i actually saw when the
calculation crashed, was, that the way to a full
understanding of nature is still infinitly long.

Oh, and just before the computer totally crashed it printed
some random numbers which could be used to predict the stock
market......isn't it?

though i'm the smallest number in that business.

and don't over-estimate these things, most of the time it's
just ehhrm, well, lets add this, subtract that, random
guessing without much thought behind. but some geniouses
simply guess right most of the time, it has a lot do do with
feeling.
well,.to be kinda cheesy, it's not far from understanding
music. getting into confield is closly related to doing
mathematics for me, on a certain level

I have just completed my construction of the world tallest
structure. It stands 2 kilometers tall and is made
completely out of dark matter. I've warned several airports
about the invisibility of the thing but they waved my
warnings away

a 2 km tall tower of dark matter - wouldn't that warp and
distort reality a bit? I mean, in a Star Trek: The Next
Generationny way..?

sorry, i'm not into the theory of rocketshitting, but
imagine, pissing back in time would make you really
powerful. nobody will dare to engage you
