yes, yes i do

i managed to squish a few of my tracks small enough so i
could upload them on my zebox page if anyone's interested
in wasting about 15 minutes of their valuable time

Nice stuff, I like the synths. Reminds me of earlier BOC
(pre Geogaddi). I like the little ''galloping'' beat on the
first one (Twilight).

And none of my time is valuable!

The first track is great!

That little outburst of notes at the beginning of track2..I
never manage to do those. Sounds wonderful.

hey, these are really cool! :D i like what you've made the
beats out of
Ophecks hit the nail right on the head with the pre-geogaddi
synths.

I've got 'mountain television lab' on my computer too, from
way back, and that's really cool also :-) with its mad beats
making my speakers pop all over the place, excellent.

This is all amazing stuff, some of my faves from this MB.

Listened to the first track, and it was very peaceful.

I'll get the others later. Glad you still upload songs.

"at twilightojects often start to make odd sounds and fall
apart"..awesome title..lovely tune..I dig the glitchy rhythm
and how the melodies continually unfold and detach out of
the central melodic figure..like an opening blossom..

but I dont hear BoC in there at all..Astrobotnia 1 is the
closest reference I can find for the synth work...

Those are naFtastic

twilight objects is my favorite but I love them all. they
seem to resolve at the end, I love how they evolve. the
percussionish stuff is somewhat peripheral to the melody.
I'd say twilight objects sounds like an alien above in a
spaceship peacefully watching the scene on the planet where
Fox McCloud rides a hover tank and tries to switch the 8
levers to change the direction of the track (from the
alien's viewpoint because it removes the nervous feeling of
trying to switch them all... just a peaceful removed
observance. (the melody's became more dominant relative to
earlier wayout stuff, like that one where a smurf says "let
the base kick" then it gets all crazy (that song's awesome))
I put earlier wayout stuff on a tape in my car and play it
on my lunch breaks and drives to work so I've heard them a
lot (but unfortuneately at a bad hissy tape quality) When I
played I feel disconnected once, I rolled down the window so
the song's spirit could get out and be free. hopefully it
found a peaceful safe place to hide.

aye.. i uploaded the mp3's at 128k..
they wouldnt fit otherwise.. i think the 192k streaming
might be zebox's doing..in that case downloading them might
be faster

haha m.. i was thinking of releasing music on bad hissy
tapes..

hmm..'a peaceful removed observance'... you always seem to
pinpoint what im trying to get at with your abstract
'reviews'
i listened to the tracks you put up on zebox, but never said
anything about them because i was afraid of getting kicked
in the balls..
but from the sounds of it..youve got modplug tracker tied up
in a cage in your basement, in a leather body suit with lots
of buckles

Wayout, I promise you that I will never.... ever kick you in
the balls.

(because you don't have any)

haha, I like that description
*buyp

no, m... you will never kick me in the balls...
because you have no legs to kick with!

haHA!

AAAh ha ha ha ha! touche
That was hilarious! legs are just as biologically arbitrary,
so why wouldn't saying someone lacks them be equally
insulting?

douche!

hey wayout, i really like these three songs...

reminds me of something
that happened
last summer...
something special.
and blue skies maybe.

i'm thinking that
you might
have some more
of these hidden somewhere
on your
hard disk
maybe?

would you like to trade cds?
i've made a silly electronic album as fat kaimo
and a dull ambient album as hei...
hmmm?

offline wayout from the street of crocodiles on 2003-01-04 17:09 [#00501754]
Points: 2849 Status: Lurker

indeed i do..
do you have soulseek?

if not, i'd be happy to trade discs
i'd have to master them right so they dont sound like crap
though..

i havent heard your hei stuff yet.. but your fat kaimo stuff
is wicked cool

thanks for the compliment...
wicked cool... heh

no soulseek
modem is my vehicle here...

and soul is more important
than the quality of mastering...
i feel there's soul in your songs.

hmm i'll send you email right now...
