A big black jacket with a massive fur-lined hood that makes
me look like some kind of gangsta, or Sue in Celebrity Big
Brother.

A weird lamp thing that I can't explain.

A DVD that got given to the wrong person, so I have to wait
for someone to retrieve it before I find out wat it is.

Some Lynx deodorant. Probably someone dropping a hint there.

I got 4 large blue drink glasses, a sweater, some back
massage stuff, a large beer glass with my name on it and
oddly enough, money!

I gave away one bratz make-up head, bratz pillow, a toy
truck and 3 Winnie the Pooh drinking glasses. Oh yeah.. one
glass shrimp boat too.

I'm getting a DVD player for myself now that the mad sales
get started.

Resident Evil Zero, Eternal Darkness, a big ass stereo
system, a bean bag chair, a few hockey books and a pretty
dang interesting Beatle book full of crazy facts even I
didn't know, GC memory card, too much clothes, other crap. I
only wear these two shirts and ignore the rest of my
wardrobe, yet people keep buying me clothes.

And the Guinness record book... I've gotten that every Xmas
for what seems like decades, centuries even.

some gift certificates to places

and some other things that are really awesome

My crazy uncle got me a 12 gauge flare gun, hahaha, my uncle
is an awesome man.

I am going to put it in my car in case by some chance I get
stranded, or if someone tries to hassle me (car jacking,
whatever... especially of the wierdo's here in CA)

Last year the man gave me this massive bear/hunting buck
knife. hahaha

The year before that he gave me a canister of mace/bear
zapper spray.

i got money, vouchers to hennes&mauritz (a hint i think),
tickets to day-cruise to tallinn, woolly socks, chocholate,
curtains...

gave absolutely nothing. exept cd's for me. i told them i
don't need presents.

is there by chance good records stores in tallinn??

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2002-12-26 02:24 [#00491424]
Points: 14550 Status: Lurker

what is hennes & mauritz?

have you been to tallinn before? it's nice (scenic) but it
has lots of poverty. bring a camera! (not for the poverty
though....)

there are some record stores in tallinn but it's shit.
everyone there listens to shit, except for their regional
music which you can buy on street corners anyway.

offline neetta from Finland on 2002-12-26 02:28 [#00491428]

hmm. again, a person who does not know h&m, swedens gift to
the whole world. it's a cheap trendy-clothes store. i think
the stuff is child-labor etc. all the 'trendy' (read: the
ones who look exactly like each other) shop there. i thought
h&m was everywhere. but probably just in europe then.

i see this as a desperate try from my relatives who would
like me to be just a little bit more normal.

offline neetta from Finland on 2002-12-26 02:31 [#00491430]
Points: 5924 Status: Regular

oh, i've been to tallinn twice. you can get these
extra-cheap cruises there. all the finns go there to get
drunk/get pussy/get sheap booze and tobacco.

it's a very nice city, althought the poverty makes me feel
bad. most people are very friendly too. tallinn has
annoyingly much features that are in helsinki too (same
shops etc.)

i wouldn't say "skanky" is simply "unattractive"... it's
sort of like a slutty ugly. not quite ugly, but "plain" at
best.
