The last two are choice, but I prefer the live version of
Spinning Plates on the I might be wrong live recordings cd.
Sounds so much nicer with piano.

don't really like the glass house song but I love "like
spinning plates". But that said the whole CD is a
masterpiece of modern musical art, I love their experimental
music, and that reminds me, I wanted to D/L the mp3 of
spinning plates so i could play it in reverse and actually
hear what he's saying inbetween the chorus......

the lyrics are forwards, only sung to sound like they're
backwards.

very nice to see you too indeed... very few of the old ones
are usually on line

I think he actually sung the lyrics backwards, and then the
playback was reversed in order to sound somewhat normal.

I have actually been WITHOUT internet access for a LONG
while....

But now I can check it daily and I am BACK IN LOVE with
seeing everyone out here, ESPECIALLY oldschool like
yourself.
=)

Hope all is well

the fact that it doesn't sound backwards at all, unless you
don't have good ears, and the fact that it's rather and
nearly impossible to accomplish that, coupled with the fact
that thom said he sung it forwards would lead to the proper
conclusion.

offline skodt from Toronto (Canada) on 2002-12-17 20:39 [#00484194]

tohm said he learned how to sing it backwards, forwards.
originally they had it reversed, but he sang along with it
longenough to learn how to imitate it.
from the horses mouth.
so there.

the live version of spinning plates kicks the studio
versions ass to hell and then some!

Ahem. Forget the last two tracks. I do anyway. The first
half a dozen tracks are the shiznit. Don't nobody be
thinking otherwise.

Until the live album came out I had no idea what he was
singing in Like Spinning Plates, but after listening to that
live version it was so obvious I could have killed myself.

As you can see, I didn't.
