Can music affect your dreams?

Think it can? I read the booklet that came with the
Wipeout XL soundtrack and when I got to the description of
Source Direct it said something about how they're certain
their music contains otherworldly visuals. I was kinda
intrigued by this and tried wearing my headphones when i
went to bed at night playing this track...and others. I
can't recall seeing anything...not that i was supposed
to...but it was just an experiment.

have any of you experienced odd dreams that might have been
caused listening to music?

I think it's possible. Sometimes I dream my own music, and
it's fair to say that my weirder dreams contain weirder
music.

well when i listen to sounds of the sea, i have dreams
involving axes, which i'm always in a situation where i must
kill someone or something with an axe.. but it only happens
when i'm listening to that CD

it can definately affect your dreams, especially if you
listen to music just before you go to sleep as i do almost
every night.

also, sometimes i heear crazy mashups of records, or songs
by groups (ie in their style) that don't exist. very weird.

i fell asleep to disc 1 of ambient works volume 2 and had a
dream that i met Richard D. James and drove his tank, all
with the backdrop of that album playing. i'd say it affects
dreams.

disc 2 of selected ambient works...
put the disc on rpeat and you'll wake up in the middle of
the night during that track that sounds like the jungle
sorta and it'll scare the fucking shit outta you.
..or maybe i just smoke too much weed...

also, you could feel the sky, by boc always wakes me up when
i'm sleeping and that song comes on

i woke up once in the middle of White Blur 2, and i had just
been having a dream about this freaky looking woman coming
out of a mist and laughing at me. that song is scary.

I fell asleep listening to Tango N Vectif. Lets just say
that Mike P. played a kick-ass concert (he even had a band
with him! LOL :D)

have been playing just when i fell asleep because i dreamt
of a supermario beach holiday with lots of acid :)

For sure... once I had a dream I was listening to a
fictional Pink Floyd song called ''As the Gears Turn'' or
something equally hokey... best Floyd song I've ever heard.
I woke up and swore I'd write it down or something, but I
didn't and now I can't remember the lyrics or the melody. It
was a Have a Cigar ripoff, but cool as hell.

ive dreamt songs and woke up with a vague rememberence of
what they sounded like, i think tho that a lot of them were
just misremembered songs from other artists.

you are lucky then
i'm erally having trouble seeing so many dreams since i
don't smoke so much anymore.

the mb affects my dreams. now it is proven.

last night i saw a dream where i visited LeCouer in the
states. she was actually 119 year old hermaphrodite who
could grow a beard instantly and then take it of. she did
look like her avatar. we went to a restaurant.

Too much time here surely!

Music doesn't affect my dreams I'm sad to say. My dreams are
soundless.

i don't know about dreams, but i'm sure that music affects
your way of thinking and feeling things, and not only when
you're listening to it at the exact moment but for quite a
permanent time...
