wait a second, there was a known issue with shift-clicking
(as in, click and hold down shift to open in a new
tab/window?). i do the same thing here on my mac
(apple-click), and thought it was my browser; it'd load the
new page both in a new tab AND the current page.

reinstalled firefox like 3 times, thinking it was the
browser (didn't think that it was site specific), and
thought it went away, and it came back. now i think of it,
it probably was specific just to this site.

bah, i suck. indeed, thanks for fixing it.

I have a firm connection as well. it is a opera or mozilla
vs. IE issue. It can be fixed in the CSS.

the textarea scrollie thing only affects non-ie browsers.

argh... for christ sake!!

your "fix" does not make the background fixed in IE. enter a
few lines and the logo will scroll down....

http://tehgrey.com/_waste/xlt/topic.html

now please drop this issue...

scroll up to top again...

Thanks for your help, but I should have posted that weeks
ago to avoid further discussions on this issue.
