oh then there are closet gays though which peter jackson
might be and that is totally uncool

the hobbit films are shit, which is a shame as the book is
good

I don't think you can make a film with 23 dwarves with names
like biffa boffa, bagger, bumble, bugger, bricky, bungle &
brappy compelling no matter how you direct it

They’re not great but if they’re shit than I don’t
know what to think of the invisible ‘shit to good’
barometer! Yeah not great though...

Mind you’ve we’ve been here before regarding
expectations and the ability to judge a film seriously.

yes perhaps shit is too harsh, mediocre, i.e. I wouldn't go
out of my way to watch them unlike the lord of the rings
films, I think the casting for the dwarves was wrong, too
much slapstick humour

Congratulations to Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, America's
first two Muslim congresswomen.

I knew we could do it. The Blue Wave is real. Now we just
wait Mueller to drop the dox on Trump and impeachment
proceedings can begin. Bye, Fascistia!

Yes it was Peter Jackson’s interpretation of the book that
is what’s disappointing. It’s drawn out, and I lost
interest by the time the third one came out. I do remember
watching the first one and although having mixed feelings,
having had a nice time.

I would have loved to see him do the Hobbit back in Bad
Taste era.

It was an unfortunate choice to try and replicate LOTR with
a Hobbit trilogy. They could have done it in two very solid
and faithful films without the padding.
