It is 100 years since the terrible World War 1 I found the video with Rachels song. There is nothing wrong with European pride. pride in the public (the people) Not the leaders. Not the ruling class. as it is they that orchestrate the damage and suffering. I lost many family members who were enslaved into the elite wars, elites who controlled both sides to kill as many Europeans as they felt necessary. We are still here, a global minority now. but still caring and good people. With great moral values and many great laws that protect children, women and men alike and even animals put to slaughter. Something worth preserving from a European perspective, but these are now being quickly eroded away. All cultures and people should feel pride. If one does not feel any pride one really needs to do something about it as soon as possible, even if it is to help an old lady across the road. Do a good deed each day and many dark clouds in the heart and mind will drift away. |

What I would say is there any country in the middle east that is preferable to live, for human rights, freedom of expression than in western Europe, and if not which I suspect the answer in, is then why do we allow the importation of an alien culture to undermine our society.
