the way he sounds, from syro to computer controlled acoustic instruments and from the soundcloud dump to the orphaned deejay selekt. even if all this is made thru the years it sounds different from the previous aphex/afx releases. i don't think it's 'classic aphex' since i've never heard this style coming from the the man except a few ambient tracks. it's like a rapper changing the way he flows. what do you think? |

A vertical, almost square shape with a triangle in it is kinda how I feel his compositions like Window Licker, Acrid Avid Jam Shred, and minipops 67 feel. His more ravey forward moving compositions ala analord are more vertical long rectangles with the bottom face missing. |
