A Jahovas witness knocked on my door. I answer it in my
dressing gown. He says,
"I'm sorry have I caught you at a good time?"
"Pretty good, I was having sex."
"Are you maried sir?"
I look at him as if he is stupid and say "To a goat?"
His face drops, I close the door.

Money pyramids are bad enough, but a religion pyramid,
please.

Next week I get a book that lists all of the contradictions
in the New Testament. :)

i worked with some Jehovehs Witnesses.... the ones i worked
with were the laziest, most ignorant people i have ever
meet.
their mentality was... why work?... you are already saved,
god loves you just the way you are.... why learn anything?,
the bible is all you need... why would god allow Witnesses
to misinterpret the bible, however they interpret the bible
must be correct because they are good christians... do you
catch that self-fulfilling logic?

Yep, that's true.

A lot of the old testament stuff seems quite barbaric in
comparison to what the new testament teaches.

Did you know if a Jehovahs witness accepts a blood
transfusion or allows their children to have one the are
often excommunicated? As their social as well as work and
spiritual life centre around the organisation they feel
completely isolated. The are sometimes driven to suicide by
this. So much for them understanding the concept of
forgiveness.

What I resent about Jehovah's witnesses is they -and every
other lunatic fringe organisation -call themselves
Christians yet hold view that directly contradict
Christian/Biblical teaching on many different issues. This
wouldn't be a problem, but they give real Christians a bad
reputation. If you say you're a Christian people
automatically link you to these stupid zealots.
