genus? Did you mean genes? What's Tolst laughing at?

I listened to some of their songs on myspace. They sound
gay. Not like "they sound bad" gay, though they do. At
least one of them has that characteristic gay accent.

I meant genus, like "type" or "brood" or "race" or "genes"

so yeah

didn't like it.

Sorry, I've been writing loads of e-mails and spell checking
them so 'genus' looked like a typo to my poor little eyes
for a moment.

it looked like a typo to me too, in fact the whole sentence
seems fundamentally fucked up but I can't figure out why

Did you know..... If you chain an elephant to a spot for a
year, then take the chain off it won't move further than the
radius of that chain even though it's free!?

You need more guitar bands on BIYC to compete with bands
like this. Have you got anymore Guitar Hero or The Heavy
Flowers stuff planned? I think you're losing out on the
trendy section of your potential audience...

ok , i'm not as clued-up as some of the others on XLT , but
i remember a time , when warp were stalwarts of electronica
, and ive watched from a distance as its sunk deeper and
deeper into pap and commercialism.
I visited the site only this morning after clicking on a
link on another site , just to see if there was an a&R
department yet , and i was dismayed and f**king saddened to
be honest , to see.........wait for it........the red hot
chilli pepers on the warp home page !!!!!!
I mean , WTF ???

The staff would like to point out that tidbit is not, in
actuality, symmetrical, unless you write the t as a
symmetrical cross. Which no-one does.

We now return you to our scheduled programme of bias and
woe. Thank you.

i do. my T's resemble + signs in handwriting. but my pen
always smudges, so you get a streak going to the right. so
its still not symmetrical really.

I also write my "t"s symmetrically, so there.

and mine are perfect, so it really is perfect

"if they're not British, they certainly look it."

This is how people dress in Brooklyn. I'm not kidding.
There's "vintage clothing outlets" everywhere in Brooklyn,
which is a nice way of saying "thrift store." Except these
aren't like you're average thrifstore... The merchandise is
the same, but what you would expect to pay a dollar for
normally would cost you 10 dollars at one of these stores.
If you want to buy clothes in Brooklyn, you had better be
alright with second-hand stuff. (which I am, just not for
that price).

yep, it's standard-issue new york hipster dress. they look
exactly like 90% of the twenty-somethings in brooklyn.
