woofer:
you may see that in some of the "matches" there have been
more votes than in others...this is cos we have allowed some
people (that couldnt decide) to vote in 3 of the 4 matches.
aminal for example couldnt decide between boc or SP so he
just made his votes in the other matches....
I hope you dont think this is bad for the competition, I
think its ok

These were incredible matches, apart the easy win of Aphex
against a tired Chemical Bros.
Autechre won well against a tonic Future Sound of London,
congratulations to FSOL who took 5 votes against one of the
favourites for the final win.
Good match between µziq and Plaid, I'm really happy for
Mike Paradinas because yesterday I listened Tango'N'Vectif
(bonus disc) and it's wonderful. When a new album from Mike
P.? I wanted to change my vote but he won without much
problems.
Everytime Mike P.start slow the matches but then close the
gap very well...

About last match, I'm a little bit surprised about the final
result. I thought who after last success of Geogaddi, Boards
of Canada had a better match... Anyway the could win next
season!

------------------------------------------------

I wait your comments about these results...

i'm also surprised that squarepusher won, even though i
voted for him....but with 15 new BOC topics a day i thought
he woudn't stand a chance. . .

Yo, Iron, really surprising that BoC didn't make it... I
guess it shows that this kind of contests still has some
surprises up its sleeve. Listening to any good metal at the
moment (me listening to Ae Basscadet, on a wave of
nostalgia)

...so now let the compeitors take a little bit of relax
(after these hard matches) and then we'll go to see the
semi-finals.

I re-write the semi-finalist...

APHEX TWIN (The favourite, also because he're playing at
home...)

AUTECHRE (They need all support from their fans of
AUTECHRE.NU, here)

µZIQ (Really a good performance of our Mike... Will be he
the revelation of this championship?)

SQUAREPUSHER (Okay, Tom is really angry and aggressive... he
wants to win this chapionship... and he isn't joking).

The semi-finals will coming soon...

Oh, MAN. There's two car-alarms going on simultaneously
outside, and Autechre from my PC speakers and it's THE BEST
FUCKING MIX I've heard in days!! How often does it happen
that chance itself provides you with such godly music?

congrats...

I guess I will need to stick by my #2 of my top 3....

and squarepusher won the hardest 1/4 finals as he won BOC
that were called to be in the final due to the big support
they have in this board... so tom is ready to fight...lots
of people admire his deep sense of music...all depends on
the way the 1/2 finals get... depends on who they play
with...
