BIYC Records is my kind of label.

Maybe you guys want to release my jams with Peter Fonda when
we were coming down after shooting the acid scene in Easy
Rider. Fonda plays the guitar, I howl at the moon at dry
hump some graves.

When I said maybe, I meant you're going to.

Fuckers.

actually more.

What you need is the BIYC 100 DVD-r of everything that has
come out on the label (and some more that hasn't)!

I'm considering moving it onto a CMS system so I can have an
RSS feed for people. That'll take fucking ages though and
there's no way I'm porting everything across. I ported the
old stuff before but fuck that.

Personally, the big "BIYC Breakthrough" for me will be some
spyware and popup-laden bit of shoddily coded software that
aside from providing a handy conduit to virus writers, will
automatically DL all new BIYC content to my HD without me
needing to check the website/do anything.

Imagine, it's 3.45am on Saturday morning, you stagger in
hammered, barely able to use a mouse, but can still listen
to the new releases without having to go through the complex
procedure of right click, "save target as" on 50 files.

Maybe some sort of best of BAM is in order

I can see it now:
Various Artists: Bam in your Cunt - The Greatest Tits

Perhaps woofer could do a weekly pool where we vote for our
favourite 5 BIYC tracks and the top 22 overall make it onto
some sort of Rephlexions style compilation?

It could be accompanied by one of those wordy
self-congratulatory label histories

Yes, I have visions of a 48 page booklet in the case,
containing nothing but gushing praise and accolades, without
any source for them being cited, leaving you with the
(accurate) impression it's just been written by the label
itself.

The last 4 pages should be of merchandise, which as
overpriced as it is, is never available if you enquire about
it.

dont forget the vague photos of old pieces of electronic
equipment and creative-looking unkempt people handwriting
labels on some 12" records

Sounds like a plan. A good one at that.
