yes, I kind of meant that at ceri.. he's probably just
hearing squeaking and thinking it's their sonar sound.

Correct. I'd always assumed the high pitched squeaking
(which I can hear, but not a lot of people around me) was
the sonar. I can however, hear fairly high for my age
(although bass becomes inaudible for me earlier, too). I did
that experiment with a constant tone in physics class where
they turn the pitch up and you keep your hand up whilst you
can still hear it and I was the last in the class.

I can, however, hear this fucking mosquito every time I walk
past there. Apparently the fucker who invented it is
shitting himself, as someone is currently appealing against
the use of them on human rights grounds and if they're
banned, he's scuppered. We can only hope the cocksucker
re-mortgaged his house to launch the business and will be
financially ruined.

yeah, I have quite high hearing too.. at least I did when
they did that test to see if I was fit for the army (I was,
but I chose the non-army army-duty).. I could hear all the
way down to 20 and all the way up to 20 (they didn't test
outside that range), but my let ear is missin some
frequencies around 18000hz.
