a 303 can do more than merely squelch and burp.. good for
drexciya esque basslines if combined with other synths and
perhaps re-sampled.. to add extra eq/comp etc i think luke
vibert uses it in an exemplary fashion on yoseph...

If I was to make a choice between the MAM MB33 or the
BassStation it would be the Novation anyday. The MAM is a
clone but doesn't do to good a job IMHO. The BassStation
isn't really a TB-303 clone more a great synth in it's own
right. At a push it will sound a little like a 303.

It's funny but loads of people end up spending more money on
finding clones that sound like the 303 rather than just
buying a 303!

i digs it

apart from the sound i really liked
the emulated 303 in buzz,
because you could make each note
to slide into another note.
you know, let this one slide like this
and the next one like that...

i wish all synthies had that function
