I bought Valentin Silvestrov- Requiem for Larissa a few weeks ago, best classical work I've ever heard... but nothing since then. I'm in the hole thousands, I'm done buying stuff for now.

You bought Catch 33?! Well, it's not as crappy as I EP. Chaosphere is the only album to have. These are the words of an ex-fan. Tell me I'm wrong. C'mon tell me
You'll be hearing about The Cracow Klezmer Band Combo. They are the new minions of John Zorn and in fact are quite similar to Masada, but infuenced by contemporary and chamber music rather than jazz. Let me suggest listening to some samples from "Bereshit" (I'm surprised with the choice of the title). I think tolstoyed would like it.
And Starzy Singers are a sentimental journey for me. They play psychodelic punk rock with lirycs filled with abstract humour. I still find them hilarious.

You can grab it from me on slsk just to check if you like klezmer music. Or you can just grab it, burn it and give the CD to you grandparents.

yea, i was disappointed with catch 33. half of the album is not rocking like meshuggah should but bland solo guitar noodling. also the rocking songs to me sounded derivative.
Chaosphere is the best one, i concur. Nothing is good to me too, in a sludgy and plodding negative-sounding way.

Yes, some parts of nothing are good indeed. And Stengah is a better bad opener than LCC.
DEI has it's great moments too, but I get repulsed by the thrashy parts.
Metalheads unite!!!
