yeah exactly, i don't have a problem with americans.

i have big problems with their society, gun laws,
governments, history of a bully-boy foreign policy..

but a lot of americans are really cool

yeah i'm not too fond of him either - but when you have
someone like bush who appeals so much to people by speaking
to them in really dumbed down rhetoric on one extreme side
of the political compass, i think you need someone like
michael moore to counteract that on the other side.

otherwise, the really, really stupid americans who believe
everything they see on tv, and have little or no knowledge
of history, will be simply.. brainwashed by government
propaganda.

it was before the elections, and i thought it was stupid
it were short election vids really, but one we got to see
that was rejected was one where bush was being portrayed a
nazi. being so left or right just doesnt work and has
contrary reactions

His voice gets on my nerves though. What he says can be
interesting but it's the tone with which he says it. I know
it's his natual voice but it's just one of those ones that
makes me want to pulverise the persons face. It's a barrier
I tell you.

that's a pity.

he said something witty about the monotony of his voice in a
video i saw - i think it's either in the one linked above or
in "The World After Iraq".. I forget it now though. So this
whole paragraph is fairly pointless.

Anyhow there's always plenty of stuff out there to read by
him. I'm watching a video of him right now (the 2005 Potter
Lecture from that page linked above) and i just find it
utterly captivating. it's a pity you can't stand his voice.
i love it. it breeds inspiration in me.
