yeah but you can't change the spin of the string so that the
subatomic particles changes form.

time cube is mere piffle when compared to the matter box.

mere piffle.

it's not very good and the ending is terrible, the first one
is much better

and even the first one isn't all that great.

the second one wasn't as bad as I had read, but the story is
kind of silly.

hey, that's a great idea, let's spend the first half of the
movie doing the same "oh wow where the hell are we and
why"-thing we already had done in the first film.

yea, i was told
i havent seen it

was pretty lame i guess

a cube as the bad protagonist is pretty cool i thought
especially a hypercube

the thing i liked most about the first one was how
paranoid/disoriented everyone was, i didn't think the second
one had that same sense of confusion at all, they started
working everything out too quickly. they shouldn't have
bothered with any follow-ups, i haven't seen the prequel
though

yeah, where she jumps down the hole - that bit was
hilarious. it looked like something out of Knightmare

except that the cube/hypercube isn't the protagonist. it's
not even the antagonist (which is what I think you mean),
it's just a tool, as it were.

in the first one the people inside the cube were the
protagonists, but at the same time their own antagonists.

the second one presents a kind of military organisation,
which then would be the antagonist. (although again the
protagonists are their own biggest antagonists, really)

there's a third film, called "cube: zero", which sounds even
sillier than the first two. I don't think it has yet been
released anywhere except Spain or something weird like that.

thanks and goodbye.

[ 02:26:03 ] [ @war ] des why are you trying to steal my
idea with stilaktive?
[ 02:26:08 ] [ @war ] dont be such a cunt
[ 02:27:44 ] [ @war ] des im dying to see what stilaktive
will write to further investigate the matter, he has
obviously no clue what im talking about, i have education in
quantum physics and string theory he does not have, and
believe it or not what im talking about is actually real
[ 02:27:49 ] [ @war ] although not about autechre
[ 02:27:52 ] [ @war ] thats bullshit
[ 02:27:55 ] [ @war ] but the matter box is real
[ 02:28:30 ] [ @war ] i wont be posting anymore ideas until
he posts anyway
[ 02:28:33 ] [ @war ] its gonna be fun.

i put it so nicely on irc so..

so lets see it stilaktive! show us the math and quantum
physics behind your theory! im dying to see it!

im intelligent enough to know the difference between a
delusional theory and a realistic one. cx the credit is
yours, you invented this.
But..
Its not even well thought out, its gone in a total wrong
direction and fantasized from there.

offline cx from Norway on 2005-02-15 18:41 [#01500419]
Points: 4537 Status: Regular

yes dude, of course its bullshit, aliens arent speaking to
us through autechre, i just thought it was a cool idea.

however, the matter box.. thats another issue.

lets just have some fun and build upon this theory, maybe
even people will believe it.. :D

anyway im not posting anymore of my ideas until stilaktive
either admits its all my doing, OR he posts some more ideas
that are actually his own, which i can 100% guarantee will
make him look like an ass because he has no clue about it.

so, you may begin digging yourself out of the hole
stilaktive.

cygnus :O
this is just for fun, i find their track titles so cool, and
like i got the idea that it was an alien language.
i found that extremely cool.

so then i added to that thought, mixed in some physics and
boohah!
awesome theory (at least imo others may find it lame but i
dont)
