most people don't they're all just bullshitters. the most
popular people are also the most phoney, as a general rule.

I have a life outside of the board and I'm very happy with
it.

my real life seems to be a combination of extreme highs and
lows. i.e one or the other, which i guess is better than a
steady path down the middle in someways. at the moment it is
low.

i used to have a life, especially when i was in highshool,
but we didn't have internet in those times yet, then came
the uni which was alright as well, was still going out a lot
and hang ot with people, then a very busy period happened
when i didn't have much time for friends and going out and
then i joined xltronic and im just stuck with it...i made a
mess out of my life, i never call any of my old friends and
only go out when someone asks me too..i don't mind going to
gigs alone either if no one else wants to come along.. this
will change tho if a nice girl comes along, which is very
unlikly, but i've still got some hope left :)

if you think you're missing out on friends... what about
getting rid of the computer altogether? throw it out the
window?

the thing is i like it like this atm..i would never found
out this much music if i'd be still going out every day and
it wasn't like i was doing anything worthy..same thing i do
here actually, only that i get to talk about things im
interested in over here :)

i just got too obsessed with music i think, and im scared of
a thought i'd have less time for it in the future..

Nah, not really in the classic sense, I'm a big dork and a
real misanthrophist recluse. I feel bad for the girls of the
world, they're really missing out.

Freudian term, drawn from the myth of Oedipus, designating
attraction on the part of the child toward the parent of the
opposite sex and rivalry and hostility toward the parent of
its own. It occurs during the phallic stage of the
psycho-sexual development of the personality, approximately
years three to five. Resolution of the Oedipus complex is
believed to occur by identification with the parent of the
same sex and by the renunciation of sexual interest in the
parent of the opposite sex. Freud considered this complex
the cornerstone of the superego and the nucleus of all human
relationships. Many psychiatrists, while acknowledging the
significance of the Oedipal relationships to personality
development in our culture, ascribe love and attraction
toward one parent and hatred and antagonism toward the other
not necessarily to sexual rivalry but to resentment of
parental authoritarian power.
