Fine, I accept that no killing is justified and maybe we can
change things. I guess I am sorta for the death penalty,
though, but I have zero faith in the justice system. So
there is an inherent problem there. I see your point and
respect it. I'm just sick of European haughtiness. Which
manifests itse;f daily on this board. I was lashing out at
you :-)

"it's up to you and me to try and make sure our country is
not
responsible for senseless deaths."

and sometimes the machine and corruption gives you the
finger and a _slim majority_ of low-iq near mentally
retarded born-again christian self centered fear-driven
voters win. and this majority doesnt contain the age group
or demographic of the people you speak with on the internet.
so you're speaking to the choir. now stfu. dont try to
accuse us of the very shit we hate and speak out against.
this is the way of the world. just look at tony blair,.. no
one is ousting him and he's preparing to win his
'historical' third term. the lil lap dog.

besides.. look at the rest of the world. it's all just as
fucked up everywhere you turn. the reasons these kind of
arguments or statements typically annoy me is because half
the people that make them can't even point to Iraq on a map,
let alone talk about any important world matters or factual
history outside their socially induced shell. - a simple
example of this? christopher columbus was a fuckwad and
everyone knows it by now, but who cares? - there's no real
conversation to be had in any of this line of banter.. it's
all entirely over simplistic just like the politicians rely
on.

you can't expect to have a real conversation about it though
on a forum like this. thems the facts of life.

however.. did anyone else see that the Tucker Carlson guy
got fired from CNN and Crossfire is being canceled? CNN's
president cited Jon Stewart's statements on the show as the
very kinds of reasons they are doing this and that Jon was
influential in bringing it about...

Jon Stewart kicks ass.

You are sorta for the death penalty, which means you are not
human, which means your opinions are invalid.

"it's up to you* and me to try and make sure our**
country is not responsible for senseless deaths."

* "everyone"
** "everyone's respective"

as for the rest of your rant - i don't know how that
pertains or even relates to any of my points.

"and wasn't the internet invented by Tim Berners-lea when at
CERN in Switzerland"

btw.. no. al gore invented the internet. seriously tho..
CERN became part of it, just as ARPANET did.. which was much
larger. it's a matter of where u were, how old you are, and
how much, if at all, you pay to get your lawn mowed.
