It is pretty amazing how she can stand still for so
long..

That's no recorder, she's just sucking on a bedpost, like
they did in the Renaissance.

OK, so I go the entire album, The Milk-Eyed Mender.

It is so so so so good. If you liked the song in the video
then you should like the entire record. It's very poetic and
quirky. Every song can stand on it's own. I haven't felt
this way about an album in years.

Also, there is a chance that you will absolutely hate this.
:\

I might have to empty a blowtorch on that record, if ever I
see it.

I put a disclaimer in there. So there was no need for your
meanie-pants comment.

that video is really great and the song even better, i like
the way she has adapted traditional harp playing to indie
pop music, sometimes her songs remind me of pavement but if
they only used a harp and a little girl sang.

Glad to see I wasn't crazy. I've pretty much listened to
nothing but this album on repeat 8 bazillion times in the
last week.

it was picked among 50 albums of the year by pitchfork, so i
guess there are more people who like this music..

Hm, I guess I missed it. It was one of those instances where

I was like, "Hmph, well I've never heard of it so it can't
be any good..".

I wish I could install some sort of radar that would alert
me when I would like an album. To think of all the great
music I've missed when someone was like, "You should check
out Gary Gnu" or whatever..

I wish I could remove my 1337ist music attitude. Course then

I'd have to sift through alot of right shite.. There is no
way to win.

I like her too. She's on Drag City with Bonnie Prince Billy,
some of them there are good, only a few though.

Someone please tell females to stop singing like this.
Is drunken saloon girl singing the new big thing?

What happens when you drop an atomic bomb on a perfectly
good city?

Shit gets fucked up.

What happens when you add unpleasant, self-indulgent singing
to a perfectly (well not really) good harp piece?

Shit gets fucked up.

that your previous argument that this thread contains few
messages actually pertaining to Newsom means nothing.
NOTHING!
