Nurse With Wound Current 93 (in particular the album Bright Yellow Moon, which the NWW and c93 did together which is basically about David Tibet's (c93) fever dream when he almost died) I'd also like to second the Red House Painters recommendation... is a really good album... but be careful cause there are TWO self-titled albums... The things that could potentially make me cry that i have.... are: -Nick Drake. -Jacques Brel -some Lou Reed (Berlin) .Neil Young - Radiohead - and more.... much more....... :) |

Fursaxa is quite nice... might also want to try to track down Samara Lubelski live at WFMU... most of the tracks are from the album she just put out called the Fleeting Skies, but i think the minimal lof-fi versions for the radio fit her style a million times better... |

+ Street Spirit [fade out] by Radiohead... The Faint... i have the album Danse Macabre and it's really depressing (even if sometimes really catchy and danceable too). and maybe some Eels' songs... maybe; they can make you feel better or feel worse, it depends. |
