your point is just a generalization. i like both, geodaddi
and aggressive stuff. deducing the degree of maturity or
experience in life from musical taste is rather redicouloius
and proves a certain lack in both.

Dang, thought I had a point of view there.

nuc: Your attitude prove you to be something of an
elitest moron with a mind narrower than a hamster's urethra.

'your attitude proves my point'
how silly is that? i think i know someone who has some years
of learning ahead

Doesn't matter if the trick is ressurection. Cause that's
what they do to my emotions. Everytime.

I used to prefer it over MHTRTC but I've come to realise how
crazy I was.

Hopefully this topic will turn from petty arguments over
generalizations to petty arguments over phyco-acoustics.

"you can't be a sensitive person then"

wtf, what a generalization. I'm gonna let that statement
mellow for a bit while I laugh at you

"you cant be a sensitive person then"

haha did you cry when Bambi's mother died? hahaha

"I and everyone else I know into drill or harsh aggressive
music also has a taste for the lighter side of electronic
music (as if the 2 don't occasionally mix anyway). "

who said anything about 'the lighter side of electronic
music'?
what are you talking about? moby? madonna or something?

if you think Geogaddi is 'light', it proves that you just
aren't receptive at all...

this is just like all those kids who headbang to metal bands
like Slipknot on MTV2, they really do believe they're
listening to the meanest, scariest music on the planet,
(probably to piss mom & dad). ...which is a joke because
it's just silly theatrical clown music for MTV's
child-viewer demographic.
if they want scary mean music they should try Charlie
Manson, GG Allin, or Coil or something.

like i said before, it's all about where you're at mentally,
emotionally, and what your reference points are. if you
don't even have those reference points, you just won't get
it in the first place.

afxnumb: sorry it was ironic, i thought you had read nuc's
comments, and yes i cried!
mertens: if boc ressurect emotions it really doesnt matter
that they tend to repeat themselves

Nah, I didnt read what she wrote-well I read that there was
an argument and just skipped it and wrote my part

And then you came and gave me an attitude-jeez thanks

and now im cool cause we both cried at Bambi :D

GG allin lacks talent. The murder junkies was horrible. This
personality is what was great about him

"out of my friends who are into electronic music, the ones
who aren't into Geogaddi are the ones who are really into
drill'n'bass and full-on aggressive techno.

so i guess i'm saying it's for people who have an ear for
subtlety and depth!"

Or better yet it is for people that are open to their type
of music. Making musical compairisons isnt really fair
because your statement is based on "the friends of yours who
are into electronic music".

I have a lot of friends that really arent into electronic
music but may appreciate BOC. It has nothing to do with what
one normally listens to but weather they are an open minded
individual.

Some people like it and some people dont. My listening to
agressive punk/hardcore doesnt effect my opinions on other
music.

"70's documentry footage of ducks with lots of contrasty

yellow things going on around the edge"

> haha ^^ nice... i think that's why i don't like it,
watching ducks for 66 minutes gets kinda dull : P

I don't consider Geogaddi a classic. It is an entertaining
look at what 2 guys with samplers and a large bag of
mushrooms can do.
