just the fact that you do not acknowledge that the ussr was evil shows how stupid you really are. it is proven fact that under apparatchik rule. the people of former ussr were under an undemocratic totalitarianism regime. an empire built on the sole purpose of gaining arms and starving their own. until it finally gave way and they were totally devasted financially by their incapability of creating arms because of a financial meltdown. you might want to read something on the 'nuclear freeze'. till this day russia's economy aside from the fact that they're one of the leading nations in oil production along with saudi arabia and china, are infact doing very poor economic wise.

...despite the fact that for the safest thing to do is voting for kerry, cause voting for someone better than kerry will just make bush win... there is no way kerry can be worse than bush. bush isn't even a politician. he's a loser that would still try to suck his mom's tits if his father hadn't propelled him where he is now. most of the time, the mistakes in what he says just prove he does not have a clue what he's saying. he knows how to smile and take a child in his arms, he knows how to repeat a speech and that's all he's asked. he actually should be an actor in dumb hollywood productions, a vilain defeated by bruce willis or something. what a cunt, PLEASE VOTRE KERRY THE WHOLE WORLD IS WAITING FOR BUSH TO GET KICKED!!!

yann its going to be alot more difficult for kerry to win these elections because their will be a 4th party included in this years elections. The libertarians who's system sole purpose is to decrease the federal gov'ts power over the american people. i suppose if i had to make an analogy of such a system, its like leaving a class full of kindergarden kids unattended. thats just how i see it though i could be wrong.

I think alot of english people have opinions on it because we are your right hand men as it were. To be honest, i don't think bush should be in power but i don't know the whole story. I think personally that the english government should stop sucking off bush and spent more time repairing the rift that is forming between us and the rest of europe.
It is also interesting that people fail to realise that alot of people judge you by your countries politics. Hence the phrase (that some of you German people must know on here) Island monkey.
Meh, anyway everything is more than fucked up in the world.

you are not been taught much in school about the rest of the world, are you? here (france) we're taught a lot because our history is directly linked to our neighbours' since ages, plus the us is the most powerful country in the world so we're taught about it too...

I think its totally natural that foreigners have such interest in the US elections. Bush's invasion changed every part of the globe. Because of your government (and the cocksuckingness of ours) British troops are being dragged into the 'triangle of death'. Man this stuff's gonna make great textbook material.
On a lighter point the voting day will be my birthday, so vote democrat for my present.

The seemingly opposing stances Kerry has taken on this war are a fabrication by the Bush administration, based almost entirely on taking quotes out of context. There is plenty information illustrating this at Factcheck.org (which is non-partisan). IN particular, there is an article where they take the quotes used by the Bush administration to show Kerry's supposed "flip-flops." When these quotes are in the context of what Kerry was actually saying, often times, the meaning of his statement is flipped to the exact opposite.
Kerry's weakness is being too long winded, not 'flip-flopping.'
The recent poll by Maryland University showing that Bush supporters are largely uninformed about objective topics is quite revealing, showing that many people who support Bush just don't know what's really going on.
I don't think anyone should take just Kerry's or Bush's word on any statement. Factcheck.org is a great place to start debunking thier statements.

You also have this incredibly simple political system that puts every political opinion in a structure determine by what Derrida calls "binary oppositions of western metaphysics".
Your election seem more like choosing whom to cheer during the superbowl. You just choose one of the two teams for a reason or two, than you insult the other team and enjoy the show.
But that's not what happens in europe...
Here everything is complex and strange, like some kind of alternate dimension.
For example: Any person in a right state of mind would think that the socialist party is leftist, right?
Not here in italy!
Here the socialist party is in the political right allied to the populist, the nationalist and the liberalist party!!!
So as we have no fucking idea of what that was about, we also don't expect foreigners to know.

You Americans living in "swing states" should go to this website:
VotePair
"Voters who register with VotePair will be paired with another participant via email. In this way, a swing state voter whose first choice is Nader, Cobb or Badnarik and a secure state voter whose first choice is Kerry can communicate with each other about strategic voting in the upcoming election. Pairing will facilitate dialogue and provide an opportunity for partners to make sure that their pairing partner is pledging in good faith."
