Junktion, I think you should pursue a relationship with her if you feel she is totally right for you and vise versa (and doing so is legal in your country.) However, I hope it's because you really like who she is as a person, and don't just 'like hanging out with her' because she is a 'cute' 17-year-old girl. I suggest finding out as much as possible about her, because, even though you say it's not because of physical attraction, let's face it, as a male, your brain is most definitely hard-wired to be extremely attracted to newly-developed, fertile young women. This attraction, a sort of natural high, could likely cause you to feel that any time you spend together is something incredibly special. But just imagine for a moment that she is a man, would you then still think that 'he' is a great person and want to spend as much time as possible with 'him'? I say this because if she is the love of your life the answer would still be yes. Initial attraction is very important aspect of a relationship, but it can't be the majority of what draws you together if you expect your time together to be really meaningful and long-lasting.
