I'd love the whole criterion collection. So many good films.
I have a few of them already but man.....

BAM!

they have some great films. and some great packaging.

a local dvdstore here sells a lot of them, but more as a
service to customers - they just sell them at the
buyingprice and they're still over 40 euros each. the store
isn't making any profit on them.

Oh man, your local store is excellent. Check if they've got
any of the out of print ones then sell them on eBay and make
a nice bit of money to invest in more DVDs!

I saw the Hellraiser Box thing at Virgin the other day -
looks quite tempting. Maybe. I'd be too scared to OPEN THE
BOX!

I don't see the appeal that much, except the box itself. but
you can buy pretty good replicas anyway.

I thought the first film was pretty good, but the follow-ups
just got increasingly sillier and sillier.

I think #1 and #2 are excellent. But you're right, after
that, the series kinda nose-dives...

3 seriously fucked up. Especially when they introduced the
cenobite that fires CDs from it's stomach!

Me an the missus saw it tonight and liked it fine. I was
kinda hoping Bill Nighy would get out of the car and show up
at the Winchester but you can't have everything.
