the muzak is funny in it.
like when the one guy goes off by himself to check that the mall is secure and the Muzak is playing "All by myself." or when they first enter the mall and they are all stressed because zombies were trying to eat them and the Muzak is playing "Don't worry, Be happy"
that was funny shit. i was one of only 5 people in the theatre (it was a midweek matinee) and i was laughing my stoned ass off.

The new Dawn of the Dead is way better than I could have ever imagined it being, as it is a Hollywood production. But it RULES, it WAILS, and its GREAT
I went and saw it twice, and I never watch movies twice. I love zombie movies. In April, I think, Shaun of the Dead opens. "Its a romantic comedy. With zombies." "Gathered together at their local pub for a night of drinking and conversation, a group of friends find themselves thrown into a battle against hell-bent zombies."

I love Zombies a lot, though I don't think they're as dangerous as the movies let on. Too slow and crumbly. But the fact that they're missing from Resident Evil 4 distresses me, but I guess it was time for a change.

I loved dawn of the dead. The music was funny and good and worked very well. However, the movie will not stop playing back over and over in the back of my mind and its driving me insane and I'm starting to get really scared at night when all I can think about is that movie.
I'm such a pussy.
anyway, the opening scene is so fucking scary with that little girl and that guy getting up in the background. So awesome.

i didn't really get scared but it certainly did present a real sense of impending doom. I like the part where Ana crashes her car. She is all alone, off the side of the road, confused and helpless. then Ving Rhames shows up with that big ole shotgun, and you just know she's going to be alright. i honestly had this feeling of safety when he appeared.
